i will be dipped. The voice sounds a bit off, but, as my atlas was being torn to shreds I heard her inflections! I am thrilled!!!

Goodness that makes a difference. Thanks to PGI and Carole for putting it together. I highly recommend PGI add additional voice overs as an in-game purchase.

Wish she was a bit more "robotic" sounding like her MW2 days, and shes a bit bugged, but this is a dream come true!

The last and most important part of the update is the addition of *******’ Betty. The team at Piranha went out and got the original voice actor for *******’ Betty, Carol Ruggier, to come back and do tons of voice work for the character. She first made her appearance in Mech Warrior 2 and has become a legend among fans of the series. The *******’ Betty voice interface can be turned off if you want, as it is optional. However, if you are a fan there is a lot more to come in terms of VO work. Russ apologized that her famous start up sequence is not in yet, but it will be. Still, this is just Phase 1 for *******’ Betty and they have a lot planned for the voice of your mech. Also, she does work in real time with combat, so she will tell you if you have critical damage or enemies detected, rockets locked, and so forth.

Its only the first Stage Ice more to come interms of Betty but its Carole Make no Mistake

I always thought that both mw2 and mw2mercenaries used the same actress. But I definetly liked the lines on Mercenaries best. It could be because I liked the MW2 Mercenaries game better because there was more freedom in it, as well as a cool intro.
The voice ending in: "Look at the bright side kid. Now you get to keep all the money" after your commanding officer got marooned.
