The scripts changed through the games as they progressed

Mech 2 = Planet, Temp, Local Time, All Systems Nominal (Carole)

Mech 2 GBL = Nothing was said on startup (Correct me if im wrong) (Carole)

Mech 2 Merc/ Mech 2 Titanium = Reactor Online, Sensors Online, Weapons Online All Systems Nominal (Unknown Voice Actress)

Most likley the voice is taken from Mercs or Titanium Edition as that script was never used in Either Mech 2 or GBL

Persoanlly i prefer Caroles voice since Mechwarrior 2 was my first game and its engrained in me to this day not only for the start up but for "Enemy Mech Destoroyed", "Heat level Critical" and "Internal ammo explosion Detected"

Ahhh, I forgot Mechwarrior 2 had planet and local time. It has been ages since I played that game. Never worked right for me once I had to get Windows 95

Would be nice to have Carole return for a encore of computer simulated voice. If not for all mechs why not add it as a purchasable we can get if we truly wish to have her as our computer once more?

I too would pay money for voice packs. Preferably an option to purchase a voice pack I could use in all mechs, or maybe one for a certain mech. Short term and permanent options. GIMME OPTIONS! Take my money PGI!

They knew it was "Nominal." I'm pretty sure they did it for the sake of the trailer considering its called, Mechwarrior "Online."

I voted yes, simply because I'm all for a person who's done something well AND has a desire to revisit it getting the job.

Not to mention the nostalgia would be great.

I voted yes. She does a Perfect! mech system voice. Just hearing it again brings back fond memories. Like others have mentioned i'd be willing to purchaseher 'voicepak' as an add-on.

I'd like the default voice (Aura) from EVE Online, but I don't think that will happen.

I think she would be fine but maybe they will include a variety of voice packs and you can choose which one best suits you for each or all mechs you have.

The voice from the teaser was perfectly fine, except for the lack of NOMINAL. We do need to at least have the option for the mech startup voice ingame.

Additional voices does sound like an obvious option for cosmetic cash shop stuff.

I would have to say it would be nice to have some of the old mixed in with the new. All for having Carole.
