jump jets for mechs over 85 tons suck, they don't do anything for them. It takes more jump jets then the dire wolf and highlanders can mount to give them any decent mobility buffs there plain and simple useless. for 90+ tons

Anyone that has tried to use jump jets on the Highlander any time in the last few months knows this thread's fear of jumping Dires is hyperbolic nonsense.

Yeah I just looked up on Smurfy, and my Highlander 733C can actually jump higher at 20m with 3 JJ than the Dire Wolf S can at 18m with 3 JJ.

Now, considering my Highlander can barely even get off the ground...I don't think we'll have to worry about it.

The second a Dire wolf jumps up the embankment around the River city bridge it will be nerfed into oblivion cuz it will nuke some unsuspecting 9s in the ass and the 9s drivers will be forumside with their lit pitchforks and sharpened torches screaming bloody murder until the DW-S loses it's JJ and gets another -50% to it's maximum turret traverse range.

could just as easily be a ledge, a mountain or a hill. mining colony is literally made of buildings that ledge onto other buildings.

LOL, if I began to tell you about the stuff ive come up in my imagination, you would think im clinically insane.

I used to have a KRL thing in my sig, referring to my own imaginary Knights Republic Legion.....I had some 500 pages of roleplaying that out on the Wizkids forums and there is currently the tail end of it on the Dark Republic forums....I even wrote up a life story of LordKnightFandragon, my alter ego and the person I portray in my Republic. Ofc, I do not actually believe this is real, but just something ive been thinking up since I was like 5 hahah.

I would love to see a Dire Wolf try to pop tart. I could just imagine it going like this.

If you're smart, you start charging the Gauss earlier, so you'll be ready to fire once you're clear. Though, to be honest, Anyone that thinks they'll be pop-tarting in a Dire isn't smart anyway.
