The idea is simple in principle. When fired with reticle at any specific component, IS Streak SRMs will try to hit that specific component instead of spreading it. Without doing so, it will work as per normal.

Reasoning: Most clan weapons has had some kind of changes to it to have some sort of "pros-cons" instead of outright being better in comparison to IS. Streaks are one of those weapons that does not seem to have such a treatment.

By doing so, Clan and IS Streaks now have a bit more pro-cons distinction.

Clan
Longer range
SSRM4, SSRM6 currently available

IS
Ability to target specific component.

*If* MWO timeline advanced enough to grant us SSRM4/6, however, I am unsure if it'll still be fine with the mechanics. Then again, the weight investment might offset enough?

...Or just set it so that Streaks behave like they do now, but if you have TAG, they will guide to the laser and strike where the pointer is resting on the Mech...

Whats the cooldown for clan streaks, all sizes? I thought they were 3/4.5/6? I dont own any clan mechs so far (but have used nova prime trial to good effect the few times I did) so I can't see it for myself.

I would like streaks to behave as they are defined in the Battletech indices, No more, No less. And the same goes for every other BT weapon system, too much has been riki tik around with as it is.
