not sure why the feet thing isn't still in.

Why do in game mechs not look that bright and vibrant? Everything is greyed out, dark and its honestly hard to tell a mech from the terrain, esp on like HPG, where everything is grey...I have both gamma and brightness maxed in game.....its still sometimes hard to see mechs. About all that ever really give it away is when they move and the pixels shimmer in such a way that I can tell its a mech and not hte terrain moving. Typically, I have no issues IDing targets in game, but MWO is colored in such a way that it is kinda tricky at times.

On maps like Crimson, at distance, everything is blurry, like im looking through an unfocused telescope or something, and its the same thing again....

WHy can we not get the game ot be lit up a little more. Even maps in the middle of the day, everything is so dark and dreary...

Tourmaline is a pretty bright map and if it wasnt for the brown terrain, mechs would be almost invisible there to.

God, these mechs look so much better with IK enabled.

They require server updates for everyone to see them properly...was too much server load for such a small detail.

nah, they would be exchanged alongside the loadout info, less then a few KB's is not going to make a significant impact, besides, if there are any graphical issues, they probably would just not render on the mech,

heck why not have it as a check box like all chat?

It was supposedly a complicated issue. I don't recall exactly what they said, but I believe it got pulled along with collisions. That was quite some years ago now, though, so finding actual posts on the subject might prove difficult.

For those who don't know, new mechs still get fall/rise animations.

I'd take Inverse Kinematics next week if it meant we never got decals
the lack of IK really sucks and It's one of the most immersion killing things in the game for me
80+ ton mechs shouldn't bounce like small animals

Decals will be nice whenever we get them. But I am not holding my breath. They are trying to get CW into working shape still.

If I remember correctly from what I read it was some issue with HSR.
