It was great of PGI to continue it for another weekend, but some folks have families and jobs and such. It was a hard challenge to grind out. I honestly feel bad for the guy.

I ended the weekend at 49 points. Just 1 away from the Patton camo.
I quit playing 2:00 am Sunday morning with 46 points. I figured I could play later that morning when I got up. I only needed 4 points. Friday and Saturday had been kind to me. I started at 15 points and ended with 46, so surely 4 points should be easy.
It took me an hour to get 3 points. Then hell set in. I played about 15 matches. Only TWO qualified (other 13 were losses).
Out of the two that did qualify, one I just didn't get a kill. The other was just crap. I had chased down a Cataphract and had him stripped CT and a red internal. Just as I was going to finish him off, one team mate stole the kill while another TK'd me in the back.
The rest of the matches were losses. On two occasions our team was up by as much as four kills and still lost.
The girlfriend and I had to leave to go back to her place (to feed the cats and for dinner). She wouldn't have cared if I continued trying, but it was getting late in the afternoon and it had been hours. I was furious and I knew I couldn't think straight at that point to even really try anymore.
So, I quit at 49 points. Not easy to do, but it's just camo.
Sorry I hijacked your thread, but you gave me a chance to vent.
I know it's frustrating when your so close and nothing seems to go your way. Mine was some crazy losing streak (with poor performance when it counted) and I'm sure yours was equally rage inducing.
There will be other challenges, there is always the next one.

It wouldnt be so bad if i got the mech then spending the whole day trying to grind to get the last points would have been worth it but now it (apart from the C-bills) it felt like a waste of time

I'm 5 points away, but my graphics card copped out last weekend so I couldn't finish... I accepted defeat... then this weekend came up as a second chance for the challange and I'm sitting here pulling my hair out because my RMA hasn't been approved yet. @_____@

Almost all my points were from pug games. Probably a third I earned in a Timberwolf with pulse lasers.

The second to last point took 8 matches.
The very last point took 11. Including 5 games in a row where I got >500 damage and my team won, but I had zero kills. It was taunting me.
