The butthurt in some of the above replies makes me giggle a bit.

Dunno; I talked to Villz for first time since quitting last night. I think Ryan and him are playing SC or something? No idea really. Peef I think has been playing random ****, at least according to his twitch. As far as I know the crew made Lords or whatever, I had a unit invite when I logged in but I'm not sure if I'm even interesting in sticking around, or even playing with a group, so...

ps - @Kiiyor - word, yeah the 'S' in the two diff Wolf mechs looks brutal, doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where that leads to... as far as IS for quirks ugh, only one that ever got my rocks off was ofc the 3D, so...

Yeah, CW is a work in progress. I predict it will go through phases of popularity all throughout this year as new content is introduced, consumed and ultimately ridiculed. Same as any other mmo. By this time next year, though, I'm hopeful that Logistics will be implemented, which will be interesting. Too lazy to explain here. Look up Paul's CW posts to read up.

Yeah, I was going to post the 'Phract quirks, but remembered your beloved 3D hadn't been touched. I daresay it will be in the next pass.

Yeah Kiiyor... JJ Cat's the elephant in the room for me, I'm being aloof about it cuz I know if I bother to stick around or play serious at all then it's inevitable that I tweak that platform out for tarting.

Wtf is Iron talking about Logistics? Is this supposed to be the actually interesting part of CW rollout? Am I really supposed to search for some Paul thread? Bah...

By the way... it dawned on me tonight, as I kept tabbing in and seeing rounds almost over, that Skirmish mode is an absolutely awful concept for this game.

Every single match turns into "lets spend the next 5 minutes searching for a powered down light hiding somewhere whos pilot is AFK making a sandwich".

Wtf?

Is this for real? What an awful concept. When I tab in and find myself as that 12th guy, whos appears DC'd at base, I just override engage and alpha myself into oblivion. Cuz, like others with lives, I have **** to do at some point...

This is supposed to be a video game, not an easter egg hunt.

Otherwise, I'm happy to announce that I've finished AFK grinding basic 8/8s on Foxes, so if you see me from now on I might actually be tabbed in game... unlike the 12th man who is always hiding.
