Disconnected in my Jager in the first part of the match on Verdian Bog, re connected and found myself into the river, so by the time I got back up my team was almost dying and our last assault had dropped himself into the river and was facing off with a Direwolf.

(my weapons is 2 ac5s and 2 ppcs).

I killed the Direwolf by flanking.

Our assualt died, so I got surrounded by 5 enemy mechs.

I managed to kill four of them, they were all badly damaged.
But i've run out of ammo and i was legged, the last enemy was a Madcat who was following me around.

Did he kill me? No he had no weapons left.
Did I kill him?. No, I only had the ppcs with 90 min range.

Awkward silence for the next 5mins as we sat there and looked at each other.

Has anyone else had this amusing end to a game?

yes we had one similar on Caustic, where our last summoner shot all weapons off a catapult, the cata had a cherry red ct, so the summoner tried to shoot it death with lrm's within minimum range which somehow was not enough, and then he ran out of ammo, not having anythign to shoot as well.

they tried killing each other via ramming for 5 minutes but damage is so low they could not kill each other, and even if the summoner frontally rammed the catas cherry red CT, only its legs registered damage. and so the match went into an 11 11 draw.

Best one I can remember a team slaughtered two of our lances. In chat we said lets hide. The four of us did just that. We got 9 like that in ambush mode. Two and two on each side of the map in therma. We had one LRM cat who got into a volcano crater and just lobbed as I powered up moved and spotted, Best teamwork in typed chat I can remember. Lost the Cat pilot in the great ban, Haven't seen him since.

Funny stories I bet you wished you could roll down your windows and take potshots at each other with revolvers or throw bricks (Ala WW1 pilots)

Had one game where myself and another BJ had lost all guns against 1 legged jenner, We tried to ram him for 3 minutes but I got blown away....my teammate then went F**K this and ran away at 64 kph...the jenner could barely keep up with him at 40kph taking long range laser potshots a the BJs back. 11-11 draw....

I've seen similar games end with DFA on cored mechs. Always funny to see that.
