I never liked it cuz it has no Torso twist....Ofc, if it got torso twist in MWO, it would suddenly become 3x taller and 2x as wide....

Filling in the tonnage holes on the clan side should be primary IMO though.

The taller would be bad enough if it happened, but wider would be devastating. The mech was already wide in MW3. Wider would make a B52 seem narrow by comparison lol.

Medium mech: crab, shadowcat.viper,
Heavy mech: Couldron-born, Crossbow,
Assault: Naga.
But to be honest... I think at this point?... Arrow IV, Long Tom, Ammo types, etc should be a bit higher priority then simple new mechs... new mechs are nice and all, but new equipment does add new dynamics to the game.
(my list would be a lot bigger if only people made more god damn mecsh before 3050! kodiak I'm looking at you)

I am a huge fan of the cauldron born, even though it says it was designed in 3049 it didn't see deployment till it showed up in the 3055 readout as re-enforcements for the clans.
Actually it didn't show up till 3052... and it was due to the fact that it was such a new mech that it didn't make it to the front line... however look at the timberwolf S... that thing wasn't even made in 3049 but we saw it there

I do not mind having the couldron born a year early and stuff ya know....

I'm all for the MASC brigade to announce their arrival with fanfare and pomp. There are some amazing mechs that haven't been released simply because the MASC system hasn't been introduced - but I say, ignore the MASC for now, and just release the mechs. Throw in an extra heatsink or two to compensate.

Cauldron born
Dragonfly
Dasher
Vapor eagle
Kodiac
Shadowcat
Arctic wolf
screw MASC or figure out something else for the tonnage. Dasher gets armor boost instead of MASC and 175kph. Executioner gets Larger Targeting Computer instead. Shadowcat gets Armor instead of the speed booster etc. ...
Devastator
Wolfhound
Clint
Crab
Flashman
Starslayer
Mauler

What role does it fill? isnt it's loadout mostly ballistic? Clan ballistics are a damn joke.....
walk around the corner and unload those LBXs into a mech and watch as after 5 volleys his armor hasnt changed a bit...

But the fluff says it was in combat in 3052. PGI could fudge that if the official production date was 3049. After all, we see mechs that are very rare all the time in MWO.
Named after the zombies of Irish myth, Inner Sphere warriors that first encountered it during the Battle of Luthien called this 'Mech the Cauldron-Born. Ironically, the Clan Smoke Jaguar 'Mech that was intended to replace the Loki was not referred to by its Clan designation, Ebon Jaguar, by other Clans as it was still so new that many Clans just called it by its Inner Sphere designation

No, no he did not. He said he would not go so far as to say they would be rushing to do this again but that they were reasonably pleased with the result. IE it was a moderate success, but less than they expected though still enough to proceed.

So here are the guidelines
>there must be at least 3 cannon loadouts
>it must be available in the 3050 timeframe.
I'd ultimately like to see all the mechs.
However: I think it would be a bit of a trawl to work out what's actually viable under those guidelines.
The other day when I was bored at work I conducted a little exercise that looked at 20 tonners alone and it took a couple of hours to work out whats viable and what isn't
Spoiler alert: for in 20t bracket, basically Hornet and Thorn could be implemented, and that's it.
Stinger and Wasp could if they weren't unseen
Flea, Mercury and the Fire Moth/Dasher could be added if MASC wasn't an issue.
Ended up that I couldn't really be bothered checking out the other tonnage brackets.

The Mauler 1R - 4 AC 2s, 2 LRM 15s, 2 ERLarge Laser
The Mauler 1C like the 1R but a C3 suite instead of a second ton ammunition for the AC2
The Daboku - 2 LRM 10, 4 AC 2s, 2 Large Lasers
well an two heavy autocannons in the arms - is a great idea either:

Well - you can say 1R and 1C are the same variants - but my answer would be: WAYNE -because the Quickdraw 4G and 4H are equal as well - the only difference in canon is not possible in MWO - so shouldn't the C3 be a problem.
Anyhow: need more Mechs IS for 40, 60 and 75tons
Assassin, Clint, Hermes II
Champion. Lancelot, Merlin
Flashman
Clan:
30t Hanyku
45t BattleCobra

Medium - Assassin
Heavy - Black Knight
Assault - Hatamoto Chi
These have all been discussed previously and asked for. Since we can't have the Unseens, these are really the few that we don't have already that have a large following.

Galen Cox (Or Jerry Cranston, friend of Victor Steiner-Davion) piloted a Devastator during the FedCom Civil war.Easy fluff to make up an entirely new hero variant, as he would definitely have the funds to make his own personal mech from the base chassis.
Also the bushwacker needs to come in to play at some point, it's too iconic not to be in the game.

It's also got three variants and fits the timeline.

I'll go with mauler for IS.
As for the clans... well.... 1- Fire Moth 2- Arctic cheetah 3- Viper 4- shadowcat 5- cauldron born 6- Executioner 7- supernova 8- Kodiak
Ditch the MASC on some of those (as you did with the A-pods on HBR-Prime) and add armor/ammo.

Javelin: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Javelin
- JVN-10F The only Succession Wars variant, also known as the Fire Javelin, the 10F was introduced in 2819 and is the complete opposite of the 10N model as it removes both of the SRM-6 launchers in favor of four Medium Lasers. While less reliant of expendable ammunition stores, this variant is also more susceptible to overheating if the lasers are used simultaneously with the jump jets.[1][2] BV (1.0) = 702, BV (2.0) = 835[5]
- JVN-10P The 10P model is an upgrade of the 10N model introduced by the Federated Commonwealth amid much secrecy in 3049. The 10P retains the armor and speed profile of the 10N, removes one of the SRM-6 launchers and replaces it with two Streak SRM-2 launchers. While sacrificing slightly in terms of firepower, this variant is far more ammo-efficient than the original.[3][4] BV (1.0) = 514, BV (2.0) = 590[6]
- JVN-11A The second version of the Javelin to carry the moniker of Fire Javelin, this upgrade of the 10F was introduced following the Clan Invasion in 3053 and mounts seven medium lasers, using double heat sinks to counter the massive amount of heat that can build up from using so many energy weapons. The conventional armor was also swapped out for Ferro-Fibrous and an additional ton added to increase the overall protection for the Javelin. This design was a field refit often seen after other units had cast off their old parts.[7] BV (1.0) = ??, BV (2.0) = 1,073[5][8]
- JVN-11B The 11B is a scout design introduced in 3054 that replaces the missiles launchers with twin SRM-4s so that it can mount a Beagle Active Probe and Guardian ECM Suite. Additional Ferro-Fibrous armor gives the 11B more than a forty percent increase in protection, while the inclusion of CASE necessitated dropping the jump jets and an upgrade to double heat sinks provides ample coverage. BV (1.0) = ??, BV (2.0) = 678[5]

You should maybe note that the english-speakin' fellas in here do have no idea what you are talking about when you are saying "WAYNE"

On topic:
For clans I really would take most of the remaining Omnimechs, there's not so many left that are a) Omnimechs
