My point is that this event does not promote kill stealing. It discourages kill stealing because you get fewer points for a kill than you get for an assist.

Please don't quote part of my post out of context. While I said the last event had kill stealing being a problem, this event would be everyone hitting the enemy team for assists and then just not caring.
