Also, irl, I am extremely claustrophobic, so that might have something to do with it

On topic, probably prefer the Jenner simply because of how much time I've used it for.

King Crab's one is cool too, follows the mech's shape. Stormcrow has a good cockpit too, althought I find the mech way ugly, about how it looks.

SMN cockpit is very roomy and you can easily see everything around you, well, except if you have a huge launcher on your left torso.

Atlas cockpit, good visibility pretty clean cut.
I like the Nova cockpit too, feels like a Jetfighter, too bad the rest of it is.. well you know.

Warhawk: Having the torsos come around you makes it feel "safe" like your definitely piloting a war machine.
Mauler: This cockpit feels "unsafe" with the giant glass at your feet. But it allows you to look down to target harassing lights which is great.
Catapult: Has that nice tinted glass on the sides and up top, a nice touch.
Cyclops: Just like being a B-17 ballgunner.
Rifleman: You can look straight up to blast UAV's or mechs above you that have bad yaw or no arm weapons. True to the source material as an AA platform.

I stand by my comments of a year and a half ago.

Overall I like the Marauder best. Great visibility, minimal panels, almost Clan-like in execution. The Rifleman next best, its visibility is the best of all my most-run mechs. Third, Quickdraw and Victor for their cockpit placement. It's like driving from the top of a tall building.
The Executioner and Arctic Cheetah have a sort of early-1960s aesthetic to them that I enjoy. The TDR, VTR, QKD, and DRG all share this utilitarian, 1980s look with the red glow panels, and backlit blue buttons that I like. And the Catapult is so familiar, it feels like coming home when I run one. The strip of green in the upper window is in the perfect place to cut down glare from the sun on some of the maps where that can be an issue depending on local map time.

Clan: Arctic Cheetah
The worst is shadowhawk, though.
