While the King Crab has lots of cooldown quirks and the AC20 quirk, perhaps you could give the Devastator range and projectile speed quirks, to make it a long range mech, as opposed to the King Crab brawler?
If I'm reading Sarna correctly:
DVS-2: XL300, 2 gauss in the arms, 2 PPCs in the STs, 2 MLs in the STs, 2 MLs in the CT
DVS-1D: STD300, 2 AC10s in the arms, 2 large lasers and 2 MLs in the STs, 2 MLs in the CT
DVS-3: XL300, 2 gauss in the arms, 2 PPCs in the STs, 1ML and 1SL in the CT
Some of the weapons are rear-firing in TT, but that doesn't really matter.
If we throw some hardpoints around, it may end up looking like this, maybe?
DVS-2: 2 ballistic LA/RA, 4 energy LT/RT, 2 energy CT (2 ballistic, 6 energy total)
DVS-1D: 4 ballistic LA/RA, 6 energy LT/RT, 0 energy CT (4 ballistic, 6 energy total)
DVS-3: 4 ballistic LA/RA, 2 energy LT/RT, 2 energy CT (4 ballistic, 4 energy total)
One of the prettier mechs in Battletech, in my opinion. Not quite as pretty as the Mauler, of course. But which mech would you put money on in MWO?
