I'm having trouble getting arm lock to turn off for my Adders. Arm lock is disabled and I have the lower arm actuators equipped on both arms. I can freely move my reticle vertically, but not horizontally. Help?

Clearly you must have turned the actuators off rather than on.
Did you use PPCs or ballistics?

Checked is on, unchecked is off.
Equipping a PPC or ballistic weapon will remove the actuator automatically.

I assure you arm lock is disabled and the lower arm actuators are equipped/turned on. I have medium pulse lasers equipped, no PPC's or ballistics.

Left CTRL + mouse movement to the left or right.
Does your "o" crosshair follow? If no, then..
Left CTRL + mouse movement up or down.
Does your "O" crosshair follow separately from the "+" crosshair?
If so, then your lower arm actuators are in fact, not installed. (Attach hands, too, it'll help you tell).

If the second answer is no, then Armlock isn't really off.

There was an issue yesterday with clan actuators being disabled by the AC2 heat-scale test, I think. Though I thought they said they fixed that, so maybe it's something else.

Yeah, if this was yesterday, it was something behind the scenes. Here is that thread.

Yep, a bug created when they removed ghost heat from AC2s. The actuators should work again.

I read about the issue yesterday. I sort of wish I had pulled out my Clan mechs, but I've been more interesting in trying out the more overpowered of the two sides to see whether or not it was too much (to which it is not).

(And yes I mean the IS.)
