Nah bruh, it's all in how you prep the meat! You gotta strip the meat from the bones and skin quickly, and soak it in some buttermilk for a while before freezing or cooking. It helps get the gamy taste out. For a Tex-Mex flair, try lime juice.

I'm sorry, did I hit a nerve with my post which was so obviously a joke it included a clip of Monty Python?
I'm tired of hearing that crap, and it is really frustrating to have 2-3 12 mans winning matches and still losing planets on that front, that is why we left. The implication of your post is that we are running away because we can't win, which is true in the sense that we can't win planets, even if we have multiple 12-mans dropping and winning every single match.

If you are able,
save them a place
inside of you
and save one backward glance
when you are leaving
for the places they can
no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say
you loved them,
though you may
or may not have always.
Take what they have left
and what they have taught you
with their dying
and keep it with your own.
And in that time
when men decide and feel safe
to call the war insane,
take one moment to embrace
those gentle heroes
you left behind.

Indeed. We don't seem to have the numbers to stand against the clans, but we do have the numbers to roll some Steiners. Question is, can we take their planets faster than the clans are taking ours? It doesn't seem so. Some of us are predicting the fall of the FRR by this weekend if a massive counter offense doesn't happen. That was the subject of my post in the FRR thread "Battle of Tukayyid." It's pretty much the do or die moment. This is where the IS has to pull together as one. If the FRR falls, the door to the Inner Sphere is wide open.

Honestly, I don't know if we'd be able to get away fast enough. Our planets are falling so fast, we'd be defending planets, just taken from Steiner, from the clans. Some of them may actually have a hard on for being the first to effectively knock a faction out, which means there's a possibility they might follow us just to be a-holes. About the only thing I could ask is for all houses to form a temporary truce, hell, have a few of the larger units take up a contract with us to help take planets back for the FRR. I know it's a shot in the dark, but it's better to at least try. There's mead, bacon, and blond-haired half Japanese, half Swedish chicks. Come have a party, we'll smoke some Jaguar with a side of Bear!
At the moment, the FRR is where the heaviest action takes place. Any IS unit that wants to make a name for themselves in CW should head on over into our space this weekend and prepare to give the clans hell. Otherwise, things are looking real bad. We may not have any planets left by the end of the weekend. If we can get some solid numbers, we may be able to re-stabilize the area over the course of a week. At this point, our future is in the hands of all of the IS houses.

You never "stopped". Your forces continued to bite at our heels while we were trying to fight off the Clans under the false guise of that we had taken them unprovoked when instead, it was us taking back (and punishing) Davion for such early attacks..
While some of us tried calling for IS unity, you decided to open fronts upon Liao, and Marik, diverting not just your own units from the front lines of the Clan invasion, but that of Marik and Liao as well. And now Davion pushes at Steiner. So yes, we are attacking you, Yes, we are not defending from the Clans, but that is because while we are trying to put up some form of an offense that is not being stopped by overwhelming numbers of Clan and Merc Units ghost dropping thanks to putting up superior numbers, Davion chose they rather make war with us and pretty much everyone else in the Inner Sphere.
So, if you want us to stop the Clan front, I suggest you immediately negotiate Cease-Fires with all of the IS, accept the terms provided by each faction, and start helping us fight back against the Clans. Maybe then, FRR, Steiner, and Kurita can start reclaiming territory

You can afford to lose planets though, and that temporary cease fire with Clan Wolf? If I didn't know any better I'd say Steiner was indifferent at the time towards their IS neighbors. There's a reason Rasalhague was created as a buffer state, and that buffer state can be just as useful now to limit the amount of attack avenues the clan has on Steiner. Question is, if the clans are allowed to finish the FRR, who will be their next target? One less front will actually be two extra fronts when CGB and CSJ are breathing down your neck.

You would just get beat repeatedly until the clans catch up with us. It's hard to tell what the other houses would do, but I'm sure they'll have even less mercy, less reason to see your side of things. If you're willing to work with clans to save your own rear, to wipe out an underdog, the rest of the IS will not forget. At this point, I really don't want to start beef with another house regardless. It's not worth the time since we have more pressing issues.

Ever notice its the Davions who are members of units who you never see on the CW battlefield that do the most talking?
I see their big talkers on the field all the time. Then I see the smoking craters they leave behind. Ha ha ha.
