Hi, On the issue of COCKPIT GLASS removal. Notice the next two screenshots LANCE players name. All 4 names are same, hence it's the same game match. But first without cockpit FRAME and no glass, while the 2nd has the FRAME backed_up again.

So the cockpit glass command in user.cfg is working
gp_option_ShowCockpitGlass=0

Just that another system file overides it a few seconds later, making it appear.

1st without cockpit FRAME and no glass.

2nd = cockpit FRAME reappears a few seconds later. I just caught the screen 6 mins ater.

Speaking of this. I think the GLASS is infact removed, just that the cockpit frame is backed_up. Not the glass backed_up, because see next picture, cockpit glass in full essence and meaning and in beautiful effect.

So, what's the command to remove the FRAME? could it be
gp_option_ShowCockpit=0
???

Hey, good informative post. You're going to facepalm at the solution.

gp_option_ShowCockpitGlass = 0

Add the word glass, ( and not sure if this is crucial, it is imin some languages add a space around the "=" )

Actually I'm not talking about the GLASS, I know that command line.

I'm highlighting cockpit FRAME, review the screenshots again, the first top one has NO frame entirely. I would like to do this permanently. Anyone knows how?

When Teh Devs figured out the cockpit-thing had been left out in the open, they jumped to shut it down.

This kind of config with frame removal gives advantage, it is forbidden to use such mod/config.

That's pretty damn cheaty. Being able to see more around you with less distraction in a shooter is a big deal.
They better remove this ability to remove the glass/cockpit frame immediately. It isn't cool.

Did you just say that the devs had better remove the nonfunctional feature right away?

What you're describing is simply a bug. Sometimes the frame loads in a few seconds after the match has started.

Happens to me in my Warhawk more than any other mech.

There is no command to remove the frame, not a legitimate one, anyway.
