Heh, this makes MWO look like mech assault, honestly.
Has anyone played this yet? My immersions are off the chart!

Well... every hit being substantial damage... a large laser driving heat skyhigh (same with ppc)... volley fire only, due to heat... actual jumping... taking heavy damage enacts visual and combat hindering effects.. as with high heat. Inaccurate weapons, more so when moving or when high heat... radar functioning better than today's... (MWO's is worse than today's radar)... Weapons seem pretty balanced... (i.e. large open map, lrm's not dominating unlike MWO due to the inaccuracy of BattleTech weapons..)
And that's surface observations.

Not sure what you mean by this title? TableTop is not a video game.

@Skylarr
....Either you are kidding, or you are clueless...
TableTop, as in Battletech TableTop... as FPS ... as in... made into a video game. The example of such a feat being the video posted...
And before anyone says it, NO! mwo is not a battletech tabletop videogame. It is a Mech battle simulator based off of Battletech mech and weapon designs, with only the basic functions maintained from the tabletop game.

It has been a long day for me. I did not see the FPS being First Person Shooter. That is why I asked the question. Thank you for clearing that up

It's a shame that the dev stopped working on it... it could have been so beautiful! He even planned in a campaign and mechlab!

Graphically... I think Mechwarrior 2 has that game beat
But dang, it does look fun.

looks interesting - like "Mechwarrior 1?"
Imporatant to see that the pinpoint accuracy "created" by MW2 was necessary only for PvE - it should never have been necessary for PvP

Why was it necessary though. The game is perfectly playable with convergence, and extremely fun too!
Anyways, someone with blender knowledge should totally reverse engineer the game and make it multiplayer!
Stock mech mondays would never be the same!

It's a neat project for sure, though I'm not a fan of the weapon mechanics. I think if it were more like a better tuned version of Mechwarrior 2 or the AT 1 project it could have been more solid.
