The game time zone rules should be PST and stay that way. You posting some things at UTC then others as deadline as PST.

Getting sick and tired of that. It's causing people to miss events and deadlines.

If your North America based do PST no UTC unless your Europe based.

Ordered something and NO rewards because oh we changed the time to UTC.

Who's idea was it to play around and do somethings PST then switch others to UTC?

Common sense dictates that in a global system all times should be in zulu/UTC. Every global system I know of operates like that. Aviation/shipping/space operations.

I agree there should be one standard but if its universal make it damn universal.

The Tournament ended at midnight UTC, too, despite being advertised as midnight PST. Are they going to fix that, too?

Just curious. I actually thought it ended on Friday for some reason so was pleasantly surprised to be able to participate for a bit on Saturday. But only my first two games counted (out of ~20) because they were the only ones that ended by 11:59:59 pm UTC.

I was talking about the event, actually. Russ on twitter:

I understand that the event website stopped updating - I don't know why - maybe a mistake by staff between UTC and PST

But I think it's likely that your matches will still count they just aren't displaying on the web

Sorry for any confusion -please play through until midnight PST as though they will qualify - and I will hope we can get it all straight Mon

According to Russ, yes they are.

Honestly, times should be listed in both UTC and PST. But server times stick to one standard (looks like UTC), and support staff needs to be aware.
