Why can't Canadians buy goods from a company in Canada with Canadian dollars so we don't get murdered with the exchange rate?

It's a small cost to live in a good country, be thankful.

They would adjust the price so it still costs the same, only saving would be the Paypal/bank 2% or so they inflate the conversion to US$ by.

While it would be nice to give discount rates based on local currency value and incomes/taxes I have seen games do it and the crying is out of control. Worse than anything you have seen cried about on these forums yet. "Racism to USA for charging higher prices than Canada/Australia/Thailand/Ethiopia!" etc.
Trust me its not worth going there.

With our current government and the "changes" theyve made I for one am becoming less and less proud of being Canadian as each day passes.

But indeed it would be nice to have CDN dollar purchase options to not get fisted in the wallet every purchase due to the exchange rate.

If you want to argue about how PGI would inflate/deflate numbers for CDN, AUS, GBP and EUR pricing, you can look at the fact that League of Legends has separate accounts to be able to offer the same price regardless of origin to its players.

This is incredibly frustrating though when a mech pack costs me 120$ back a few months ago and now it jsut cost me 154$. The rate differential is ridiculous.
