I love this game! Mechwarrior was the first PC game I have ever played. I waited Sooooooo long for some one to to make another and here it is. I have no idea what is so appealing about this game but I love it. I have bought every package they have sold and will buy anything they sell in the future. Sure, It annoys the heck out of me when I can't win a single match after 2 or three hours of playing. I can't win all the time . If I did, it wouldn't be much of a game. I hate when I get put on a team full window lickers that gets smashed by a 12 man comp team. I hate that I spent so much money on game packages only to actually use 50% of the content I pay for.
The the next time I log on.... My friends are there. The game is something entirely different. Now we are the 12 man doin the stomping or the 4-7 man that has a 50/50 success rate. Maybe my friends aren't there and I'm kickin azz in the PUG cue because the MM gods are in my favour. This game is very unpredictable at times while others you can read it like a book. It's a great thing to be.

Now I may be in the forums sometimes and I may complain about things from time to time. Despite all that I still love the game. I may say mean things if you see me in game. Sorry in advance, I'm trying to improve on that. Just know that I am thankful for PGI making this game and the players that play it every day. Try to hang in there. Dont't quit playing the game because of a few losses or some aspect of the game you don't agree with. The community has the ability to help the developers make this an even better game than it already is.

Etymology: C20 - Derived from the stereotyped behaviour of mentally challenged people, observed to place their open mouths into prolongued contact with the external windows of public or private transport on which they are seated.

It is offensive and wrong to name a person people who is mentally challenged a 'window licker' or a '******'.

Something else totally came to mind with the term "window licker", thinking those folks that spend the whole match in full zoom... and then wonder why they couldn't see or hit the firestarter chewing up the ass armor.

I paid (can't remember) 30-50 bucks to buy the mech bays and some cosmetics. It's been the best money I've ever spent on a game. If stats are right I got 800 hours in-game, not including the "fun" of waiting for matches or tweaking mechs

The good news is, I don't see them pulling the plug any time soon. The studio wouldn't be pushing out FPS fixes, social tools, or new gamemodes if they were on the verge of shutting down.

Despite the attempts of ignorant people to sling mud at this developer, I'm happy to say they look like they'll be around for a while longer.
