I understand that price would be an issue, but why do we seldom see gold mechs? I play for many hours a day, yet I haven't see one!

I was inactive when the Clans first came out so I basically missed all the golds.

I have yet to see one in a pub match.

I still don't understand why people would drop so much money on a toy only to never use it. If you've got it, flaunt it people!

They are usually in the higher ELOs as it is usualy serious players that got them, I see them fairly often. Usually on the weekends as it is people with jobs that probably bought them.

That explains it. I avoid MWO like the plague on weekends. IRL social engagements take precedence.
