Holy crap, never thought I'd see another gold nova. Sadly didn't get a screen shot, but there was a gold lance. Nova, timberwolf, summoner, direwolf. It was awesome playing with them, and not being only gold mech makes you less of a target. Really wish gold mechs didn't get targeted.

Gold Adder sighted on a match I just played on Alpine. As you can see, it got the c*** beaten out of it by literally EVERYONE.

strange that the direwolf is the most seen golden one, especially since it is under 50, with the scr, summoner and warhawk. And the tbr even being sold out.

Zyne - DWF (G)

This fellow was a great chap. I spent a solid 60-90 seconds just trying to frame him up. Somebody else on the team asked what the key combo was for turning the HUD off, so I guess I wasn't the only one snapping pictures.

Yes yes, the golden mechs are around, somewhere, ready to drop and rain down death and hell upon the enemy. It had been ages since I had seen one, but then again I haven't been playing very much in the last several months vs, the last year. This pilot, played on my team in the event this weekend, and I stayed with him and so did our lance mates for most of the game. He was even nice enough to turn and face me when asked and did a little diddy for me. We all got hit hard, with just myself and him staying together, and almost got put in a bad spot.

Our team had moved away from us to push on the right, and we had 5 enemy mechs coming our way, I spoke over com's, "Elite, back off and lets regroup with the main force, we can't hold this position and its death". We both backed off, granted my timber was able to do so a bit faster then the Golden Dire.

I waited for him to catch up and covered him with two of the 5 mechs coming at us... we was able to make them lose interest in pushing further. They left us there, and I noticed that our team was gaining advantage on the other side. So I called back over com's, "Elite, lets push their flank.... go back to our position we just retreated from, and I will push with you."

Sure enough, Elite pushed with me, and the next three minutes of battle was very interesting to say the least. The Golden dire goes on a killing spree, with my timber backing him up. He fires round after round of Gauss rounds into every enemy he sees. At match end he had taken 6 of the enemy out with our flank. I don't leave Golden Mechs behind!
