"We're lost, angry and armed"

EDIT: sorry, I didn't realize that was a recruiting page for the Crimson Clan, lol, consider this a fail post.
Although a more "Independance" theme would be cool still.
You can read my misplaced rant anyway, down below. That is still my view for our website if you want to make changes.

Spoiler

To address your points Zak...

A) I don't like it at the moment either and my goal for this week is to get the new members up and streamline it back down to the basics.

A1) I don't know where the weird animish theme came from but I switched it back to the basic space theme until I have the time to make a true Browncoat's background and figure out how much I can really get out of the freewebs service.

2) It was more of a test to see If I could embed some thing off of youtube, but I've already taken it down.

C) It's been changed, quotes are now on the actual page. That's the way it's most likely going to stay.

D) I'm still waiting to hear back from WalkingRaven on that so for now that's what we've got. I've also asked Nor Azman to expand as he's a far better writer then I am.

E) Right now I'm just trying to get every thing together while working 30 hours a week and going to school. It's more of a place at the moment for me to store any thing in case some thing happens to my computer. Freewebs is easy to use and fairly user friendly until I can get some thing else put together.

Add another T of UAC5 ammo, put it in the head. This may sound counter to my other advice, but the UAC5 is a weapon you probably SHOULD add redundant ammo for. Besides, a critical hit to the head means bad things all the time, a 100% chance of an ABSOLUTELY ruined day isn't too much worse than 82% in a location you normally have a 2.73% chance to be hit in.

Big thing I dislike about head-mounted ammo is the risk of a cook-off from overheating. :)

Always struck me as a serious weakness in the stock WHM-6D Warhammer, particularly given the heat build-up it could produce. I like the WHM-6R and -6K in that regard.

Sorry guys, I've let the page go at lonewolf's discretion as it is a work in progress and he's doing it in his spare time. Zak and lonewolf; if the two of you want to work together (or fight it out and to the victor it goes) to get the site squared away, feel free to do so.

Also, while I hate to stifle a good forum line, could we move the mech tinkering to another thread?
And thank you mero for the link.

I kinda liked navigating the HQ website by quotes from Firefly. It was kinda fun. Just me. :) Thanks for the efforts Lonewolf. When in doubt I say juggle geese. :P

If I feel inspired to bash out any writing, I may put something together myself.

As for 'mech designs, I'll make a thread over on the website forum - that will help keep this one clear of tinker-spam. Although that is helping us to stay on the first page. :)

EDIT: Removed crazy early-attempt text. Guess I was tired last night (trying to speed up the wife's netbook).

Goslings, not geese.

And for the moment I'm going to put people in lances by time zone. You can work it out amoungst your selves for command position, motto, ect.

@Nos I'll get it added, if not before work then after.

Also who are our two members on GMT flat? I know Tizzer is one but I cant for the life of me remember the other.

Excellent lonewolf. Though we might balance time zone with times on. I'll send a wave back to HQ with my info.

What ever you want it to. lol. Lances will be organised by time zone for now. Once the game lanches we can redo them based on mission specifics, play style, ect.

Good to see a conscientious man here! But in all seriousness, I like running cold, and the config I suggested did just that; never overheating even if alpha-striking and running at full speed.
Ammo cookoff isn't a problem for me. :D

Also, if this is over megamek I can easily be the yin to your yang, Zak.
Running a 30T that moves at 7/11. Has 6.5T armour and TAG and ECM.

Tabletop I usually put a heatsink in the head. Good for distracting the odd critical chance. Also, I can't seem to locate the mech-builder in megamek.

As for you, Delta Lance. Next time you wonder where the artillery comes from, look for the shadows on the horizon. That's the command lance backing you up.

Megamek doesn't have a good native editor.
Solaris Skunkwerks is REALLY good, on the other hand. When you've finished your 'mech, just export it to Megamek.
The exact place to put it is <whereveryouputit>/Megamek/Data/Mechfiles/
You'll have to prepare for Clan Omnimech variants using generic sprites, but after a while you can make your own or reconnect the designs to the older ones.
It's all there; now if only I could program the Nova EWS and iATMs into it...

hey raven the mech builder is called solaris skunk work just ask merovigiran he has it so do i but i dont know were to get sorry on that one

also it seem we've already got a client he goes by the name theangelofdeath i said that your my CO and he should talk to you if anything thats all i have apart from saying that he wanted some help training some newbies or somthing like that and thats my current status report for you captain and the SHADOW FIEND project is complete with the Night Walker MK-IX in an earlierpost i said it is the FINAL production model so thats it for the project it now a closed file but there is one hitch in it the night walker was never meant to have a fixed loadout thats ehy there is so many free spots on it with room for interchangable weaponry thats how it was meant to work plus as a side note i design ALL of my mechs for multi-role purposes i do that for any war-front that i may encounter for safety.

Spare citicals aren't a problem.
CAN use does not mean MUST use.
And anything can be air-dropped at least once.
