Tukayyid has fallen! (Credit to Prussian Havoc for an excellent post!)

Since this is a CW Beta, we should ask for a weekend event where we get to fight the battle of Rasalhague. In Lore, the capital of the FRR falls to Clan Wolf. In CW Beta, let it fall to whomever is in position to take it: here, it would be CGB.

Let us fight all weekend for this capital city! Allow the FRR to move their capital to a safer world: Grumium perhaps?

Thoughts?

After the battle for Rasalhague, we could take a week or two off, then launch the Battle for Luthien! If Luthien falls, let the DC move their capital to New Samarkand--a historic world for the Combine and one far from the clan border.

Cheers all!

I'd like to see events for major worlds, but unfortunately, thanks to that 3 attack period/day update, things are expanding a little too fast for PGI to keep up with.

We can only hope that they figure out something for Terra.

Apparently you and I are not playing the same game. Iv had all of two ghost drops in the past 6-7 weeks.

I play a CW match or 3 a day, which isn't much. I ghost dropped 1 time on the first day of CW. Until we get numbers showing they are having a negative effect, I don't believe they are a huge problem.

Your right! None of the teams lose at CW so every planet taken is a ghost drop or 12 mans thrashing a PUG.

Not. Some people need some perspective on reality.

So where were all of the IS units?

Leadership left a planet out to be defended by pugs (again) and its OBVIOUSLY a mechanic issue.

Then You have been smashing pugs. Certainly a notch above ghost drops but hardly anything to brag about hehe.

Wrong, Saturday night we were fighting same size or bigger groups 4 out of 5 games.

PGI did nothing with Tukayyid. They will do nothing for Rasalhague or Luthien.

The best we can expect is a leaderboard "event" or a frigging "special sale". Maybe raised rewards for dropping on these planets. That´s it.

Sad. That´s what it is.

Yeah, the Clans don't get ghost drops. CW must be really fun for the Clans.

"Fire Sale on FRR stuff! No reasonable offer will be refused, everything must go. Looters will be shot."

I do agree that PGI should open up Rasalhague for attack* and allow FRR leadership to choose a new 'home' planet in the event that the fight over Rasalhague is lost. I would have suggested Orestes, but Steiner made sure that wasn't an option for us, and PGI/algorithm never gave us the opportunity to take it back.

Having a single planet remaining and going unconquered in the middle of Clan space just seems silly.

Same goes for Kurita.

* what we really need is a major event to occur when a homeworld is open for attack. Three days of battle, nine attack windows, best out of nine gets the planet in the end. Progress hidden, so neither side knows whether it has won or lost until it's all over. Defenders win, homeworld is closed off from attack for one week. Attackers win, a new homeworld is voted on by faction's leadership.
