PGI, I feel insulted. I have been playing this game for some time now, and put in quite a bit of money as well. I love this game, and I will continue to play for a good long time, but with the release of the CN9-AH and AS7-S for purchase, I feel as though I have been slapped in the face for being a loyal player.

Those 'Mechs were given to those who qualified for them, for a short period of time. If I recall correctly, you had to have made some kind of purchase, as well as had a set number of matches under ones belt. Though I am a loyal Jade Falcon until my dying breathe, it was a beautiful thing to know that after all the time that I had spent on this game, I was rewarded with something not everyone and their mother had, nor could they get.

Later down the line, much like the Phoenix collection, it would show the age of the MechWarrior. As in to say, how long they have been playing. Now, what is the point? We were rewarded with something you are just going to up and sell anyway. Should I assume that the Clapping Surat will be available for purchase soon too, quineg? Again I say, I feel insulted. What about the holographic Kerensky, or the fairies that I have seen in other MechWarriors cockpits? They were from a time long passed, and are completely unavailable. They show the time/money one has put into this game. Yet, I do not see them up for sale. Why is that, quineg?

As I stated, I love this game. I love playing this game. In all of the time I have been playing, not a single time have I said a word..but this..this is too much. It was a reward. A trophy. Now, it is just another IS 'Mech. Nothing special. Well, if you guys are able to sell them, can we finally sell them as well, quiaff? I do not need them, nor do I want them. I simply want what they are worth in C-Bills (Kerenskys, to us Clansmen/Clanswomen).

Um, I hate to burst your bubble.

It was actually promised way back when that these variants would be available for purchase with C-bills.

The fact that it took so damn long before it was official is more annoying than anything else... especially since the Maddog AND King Crab was released much earlier for C-bills.

So, I think you're stating about something that was simply not true in the first place.

The loyalty ones will still be unique with their Camo scheme AND the fact that there will be a (L) at the end of their callsign... That atlas is considered to be one of the best variant, not having it available to all was kinda dumb...

All that I ask, is that I can finally sell them. They are completely unnecessary to my collection.

I disagree completely.

I've played since late 2012. I'm glad to share these mechs with new players, and any other mechs, so long as they're willing to support the game.

There's two different approaches to take:
  • Star Citizen approach: Buy anything you want for money, whether it's a small scout ship or a capital ship. Ultimately, anything you buy will be available in-game for free. You're buying it for money to save yourself the time to grind it in-game, nothing else. Nothing is limited edition, nothing is only for original backers.
  • MWO approach: Loads of limited edition mechs and limited edition cockpit items. Did you like the skull of the Founder Atlas, the cute Phoenix Locust that looks like a TIE-fighter or the cool retro arms of the Invasion Hellbringer? Well, unless you bought the packages, there's no way you can get them in-game. Sucks for you.
The Star Citizen approach is much, much better. I take no joy in having a Limited Edition mech. I would much rather that every mech variant with custom geometry, every camo pattern and every cockpit item was available for all players. Even if the LCT-1V(P) was only available for 100 million C-bills.

We all love this game, we should all sympathize with each other's love for mechs.

Share the mechs. Spread the mech love. Don't be a greedy neckbearder who wants to hoard limited edition items in his basement.

Unfortunately, no.

All special "non-hero" mechs have been unsellable (Founders, Phoenix, Invasion, Gold, Sarah's, including Loyalty).

It is their policy and it is what it is.

Well those two variants happen to be the best brawlers in their chassis lineup, and in the cents case the entire weightclass,i dont see what is the wuss.
Still would like to see them to hit c-bills.

Complaining about free stuff is dumb.

Both mechs were around during Closed Beta. I actually owned an AH but they took it away and gave me a refund. Now with them available for purchase again I can have another 1 that I can camo anyway I like, though I will not have the C-bill bonus. I am sure there are other things more important to "discuss" than having these mechs available for purchase.

Whats the L about? I thought C on the Clan mechs meant it was Champion and made extra Cbills, but that has proven to be a joke. Or do we only get the extra Cbills if we win? In which case...ill never see that.

Perhaps there is, but I will have my voice heard. Therefore, as I have already stated, my OPINION, stands.

Yea! stop giving people who buy early a special mech for supporting the game. that is in no way different in hardpoints and only has minor variations in its looks! how dare you do this. I mean even if it is on one chassis, has no effect on gameplay and how good the mech is, and is only visual, a visual no one will notice 99% of the time anyway so..
wait what were we talking about?

C - Champion
L - loyalty
I - invasion
P - Phoenix
F - founder.

Yeah, nobody cares about visuals, right?

If they did, I guess PGI would be selling camo patterns and paint for MC, and cosmetic items would be an important income for them.

Can we dispense with the sarcasm now?

The greatest concern is actually the ability to sell that special variant intentionally or inadvertently.

It's just a support type of issue that you'd have to address, and people changing their minds doesn't help the cause.

It is the price for buying into a package.

Actually, it doesn't. It was never promised to be only for folks who met the criteria for those 'mechs. Those who did qualify at that time however, have a special camo for that variant and gain additional c-bills in that 'mech.

Nothing has been taken from you; no one has rained on your parade. You still have 'mechs few others have. I didn't qualify for the CN9, but I did qualify for the KGC & AS7 & I am not unhappy that ither people can purchase those for c-bills/MC. More 'mechs for everyone is always good.

I was wondering how long it'd take before I saw a post like this, as I sit here waiting for patch to finish. Phoenix re-release whining part 2 it seems.
I have BOTH the reward versions and I could care less. I'm HAPPY for the people that can have them now.

You are wrong it is that simple. For the sake of fairness those mechs were going to be made available, but what we got for being loyal are the unique skins. Your greed and your need to feel special are irrelevant. Having cosmetic items not available ever again is mostly fine, but the idea of unique models of some mechs with unique load outs is absurd. Shame on you for getting pissy about this.

Haha, I can not stop laughing. Not a single one of you must understand the word "opinion". Here, let me give you the definition.

noun
1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
3. the formal expression of a professional judgment:

to ask for a second medical opinion.
4. Law. the formal statement by a judge or court of the reasoning and the principles of law used in reaching a decision of a case.
5. a judgment or estimate of a person or thing with respect to character, merit, etc.:

to forfeit someone's good opinion.
6. a favorable estimate; esteem:

I haven't much of an opinion of him.
