Cool. So if you are not used to playing with little children why do so many "serious gamers" insist on acting like them? I always play to win. I have enough maturity, perspective and self respect/esteem to not act like a spoiled child when I don't.
I laugh because the way most "serious gamers" act, would get their butts kicked were they playing any IRL sports or games, or any other face to face interaction. Instead of sitting on their duffs being all serious on a video game.
Or to put it simply, folks need to get some perspective. Yeah, losing ain't fun. Raging over it is less so.
Hey, telling people who sucked that they sucked is not raging. It might be venting but it's not a rage.
Explaining to your team that they need to be more aggressive, is not raging. Explaining to the team at the outset, "Hey I recognize these guys, they are going to be aggressive and charge through water, THEY ALWAYS charge through water, setup a firing line at C4 because there's a choke point at the end of the boat we can kill them at..." Only to have the team argue that "Going water sucks, I always lose", then die, even though the enemy did EXACTLY as you told them they would, and you state, "I told you so" isn't raging either.
If you did badly, you need to know it. So many of these people seem to be able to explain away why they so consistently lose...
I prefer the Zoidberg method of constructive criticism when it comes to online gaming, "You did bad and you should feel bad."
The holding hands "coom by yah" approach never seems to get any traction.
