Devs,
Just wondering if we could get an update on clan UAC changes and when we might see them? They are definitely in need of a serious velocity increase to make them viable weapons or a reduction in the number of rounds fired per salvo. Right now they are just massively inferior to laser based weapons.

IMO increased round velocity would feel epic, or maybe increased burst rate (full burst comes out faster, but same delay between bursts)
Maybe velocity increase for the (U)AC/2 and (U)AC/5, and burst rate increase of (U)AC/10 and (U)AC/20?
I've been dieing to have something like the Madcat MKII - E from Mechwarrior: Living Legends. The current UACs simply don't feel beast enough to mimic it.

Was there a post somewhere by the devs stating they are looking into C-UACs?

I agree that a velocity boost would be warranted. The least they should do is reduce the firing delay between each slug, and then the remaining delay subtracted from cooldown to give them the same DPS as their IS counterpart.
I can even live with single projectile; I would actually break out in sweat against a Dakka or Boom whale.

I'd like to see arm actuators with clan uacs, maybe exclude the 20, there not that great to begin with and i think it will help.

I think velocity is the way to go. The burst mechanic was mean to spread out the damage of the larger UACs. It succeeds in doing this, but it also reduces the range at which the weapon is effective. For example, the UAC10 does full damage out to 540 meters, but unless the target is stationary or moving towards you it is difficult to land all the shots on the mech, let alone the same location.
If the weapon were more reliable, I think it would be seen more often.

I'm not against the burst option on the UAC20, but on the UAC2,5,10 it is pretty ridiculous and makes them far inferior to all IS stuff. I think the UAC2,5 should both be one shot, or at worst two quick ones. The UAC10 should be two quick ones with high velocity and the UAC20 I suppose could be 4, but they need to fire the burst closer. The time inbetween shots is so high as to be worthless weapons.
