WOW! This is the single best improvement in appearance for this game I've seen. The game looks stunning. Every other option seems to have only a marginal effect on its appearance. Granted, you need a beefy card and CPU, but if you meet the requirements it is well worth it. My average frame rates have not dipped compared to Post-AA.

TXAA has a lower visual quality then MSAA (albet a lower performance cost) If you want to see the best switch to MSAA, and add the following lines to your User.cfg (and watch your FPS likely tank)
r_TexMinAnisotropy=16
r_TexMaxAnisotropy=16
r_MSAA_samples=8

omfg!! what is your system specs mainly cpu/gpu and OC's if applicable?.... cause im running pretty damn strong at 3930k @ 4ghz and a 7970 and on testing grounds anyway at 1080 on viridian my fps is 50ish and not even all settings to very high
those screen shots are unreal... how much of that is actual in game without you editing at all?

But at 3840x2160 I avg 52fps (logged and checked) using a frame limit of 65.
I apologize if there are any errors I typed this with my cell phone.

ok so i guess your resolution alone makes those SS look far better then my 1080 would allow, and of course the 980 is a beast compared to my 7970..... can upost a couple SS of images that you havent touched up to compare to the ones you have touched up?

Maybe because I play in 3D? Haven't tried disabling it. They have enough to fix already that I won't bother them with this... Over 6 months now I'm waiting for them to fix problems with 3D.
But usually, AA is less important when in 3D, depth and both images mixed in brain forgive more jagged lines.

Curious about this as well. I am running the same card with a stock i7 3770 that churns out 3.4 to 3.9 ghz. Also got 16gb of ram.
All my MWO stuff is on an SSD drive.

Fair warning from your part but I had to try it. Tanked is an understatement!

u wanna be AT LEAST 4ghz on all cores and ive heard in the hardware section no less then 4.3ghz (intel cpu's).... unforutnately intel turbo doesnt get all 4 cores to 3.9, is that a 3770k or just a 3770?

Just a 3770. unfortunately no option to overclock, though i honestly have no knowledge about how to go about doing that anyway.
