Alright, I pug in matches. I just had a nice defense done. Had 9 kills 30 assists and 2500 damage. I got only 490k money reward. I really think they need to give bigger reward.
Edit: Also we won defence.

On side note, I'm really annoyed by pop up of "matchmaking search has been canceled" why do I need that pop up. Just to waste my time clicking Ok...

So, all in all I think there should be bigger monetary reward for match.

Did that include the 75-150k you get for winning?

I am with you on rewards, I think they need a buff of some kind. But not a lot.

If you convert the use of 4 Mechs in 1 CW, to 4 Pub matches, that sounds about right? The Dev stated they wanted both to be fairly close in financial gain.

Your 4 Mechs would have averaged 2.5 kills, 7.5 assists, 627 damage and 122,500 C-Bills. Not a bad average over-all and you may have saved 10 minutes over-all. Pub 7 min average, plus load times, with the 1 CW filling quick. (not the norm but totally happens now)

It is surmised that if the Dev wished more players to play CW, one simple method would be HUGE financial gains, but alas, those who would not play it, for reasons, would get themselves butt hurt and complain about the disparity on the Forums until parity was once again in place.

Changing things knowing a reversal is likely is not a good use of limited resource time. )

I actually thought the Devs said that for solo players, the regular queues were more profitable? One of the reasons is because 12 mans have priority in CW and get matches faster...

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but a a champion or Hero mech improves all bonuses gained total. So, there's that to consider.

I would like to see a slight increase in base pay for CW matches so more people will do them. It is usually a 30 minute investment of time (more like 45 minutes with the matching making waits) when you could probably get in 5 to 7 public matches in the same time.

10-20% bonus in c-bills would be sufficient to both increase numbers in CW and reward time commitment of those playing CW. If you add in that most comp teams use 1 or 2 consumables per mech per match, the rewards go down rapidly.

I think the match rewards need to stay where they are with more rewards for doing stuff (scouting etc) included.

However I do think the contract system needs to be looked at. I think 100k for a loss and 200k to 250k for a win would encourage a lot more people to try out CW. It's simple maths really you can drop 4 games easily in the pug queue in 45 minutes do nothing and make 4*25k for 4 losses as a minimum. IN CW it sometimes take 45 mins to play one match (5 to form team, 10 to get an opponent, 30 mins to play) at which point you can get farmed by another team, (or worse get zerged by lights in < 5 min making the 20+ minutes waiting a complete waste of time) make very little and then go back to the pug queue. I have seen it happen to teams as well as individuals.

LOL, CW now has more point to play then Pugging...we can really get space rich in the higher lvls of Clan loyalty.

50 million? Or is it Billion.

I like the new rewards, lots of GXP, lotsa Cbills.
beats the hell out of the 100k rewards for dealing upwards of 700dmg and assisting the entire team..

In game rewards should include damage to turrets, generators and omega. Particularly relevant if you are on a ghost drop.

Given the CW 4 Mechs, the possibility for great financial gain is available if you play CW as a "playa" and not a Rambo. In the Pub queue, you round the wrong corner at the wrong time, BAM, your done and you can literally make nothing.

The Devs likely figured, and rightly so, a Solo in Pub may last longer in a single Match versus how they would fair in CW. Turns out, from the tears we have seen shed to this point, they were indeed correct.

CW is a Rambo style "non-profit zone" it would seem. :)

7.5% bonus per mech, for a total of 30% if you bring 4 Heroes.

You know what's awful? I've heard that each hero/loyalty 'mech you use only gives you a 7.5% C-Bill bonus instead of 30. If that's true, I feel cheated, and to tell the truth, it does seem like it on the earnings screen.

Yes but still, I bought them to get 30% for each one I take. I understand 120% total C-Bill gain from 4 hero 'mechs is a lot, but I bought all of them for this purpose.

Heck, I'd just be happier with CW if actually working to complete the objectives as the attacker actually paid something. Unless they recently fixed it, all damage dealt to generators counts for NOTHING in the end. You also don't get any of the special rewards ("brawling" "solo-kill" and so on) when dealing with the objectives.

This produces the nutty situation where an attacking mech who - rightly - minimized time spent tangling with defending mechs and instead knocks out the generators can easily score lower at the end of the match than a player who ignored the objectives and just spent his time brawling with defenders.

This whole setup is contrary to the idea of "objective based warefare." As I said, I don't know if they fixed this in the past few weeks, but it is a silly setup and only serves to punish the attackers who generally get a lower pay-out per match anyway (fewer mechs destroyed and somewhat lower chance of victory barring light rushes which, ironically, make it even less likely defending mechs will be destroyed and pay out to the attackers.)

Huh tonight I earned a million in one match with the end of game reward. I actually dont mind the rewards.

Win a game on conq (because you were the only capping and alive) pay out like 70,000.
Winning on assault without a bunch of damage 60,000

Rewards are jacked, just plain jacked.
