- 10v12, as suggested in another thread by Theaus: 2 Clan Stars vs 3 IS Lances. Supported by lore, would make it a bit harder for clans to stomp IS factions
- Different tonnage for IS and Clan drop decks. Say, keep the 240t limit for Clans but raise the IS limit to 260t, or dial the clans down to 220t instead.
- Dramatically increase the rewards for IS factions - not just the rewards for winning, the entire rewards package for playing IS. Anything from 1.3X up to 2X and beyond, so that players aren't faced with a choice between "grinding for C-bills" OR "playing CW".
2 and 3 could be dialed up or down as necessary to balance the faction map.
The one thing I don't have a good answer to is the Hellbringer problem (2-Hellbringer 2-Stormcrow drop deck is permanently invisible). The best I could come up with was:
4. Introduce zones with ECM counters in the maps for IS defenders, specifically to counter the Hellbringer issue. Maybe the gates and Omega installation have fixed ECM system that counters Clan ECM out to 200m at the gates and 500m at the Omega. Or even partially counters it, so that locks take longer but you can still see enemy movement in the covered zone.
