228 can lead the vanguard, but we need your mechs on the ground, on planet as well.

We had that same problem with Steiner for over a week. This algorithm is messed up that way, hopefully a patch in the near future will fix it.
I'd rather they didn't, in that case. In fact, I'd be cool with all Steiner planets being off-limits to attack.
Right, guys?

This is factually incorrect.
I was not ordered by anyone. Nor did I order my unit not to engage. Btw, I only ever claim to represent ONE unit...Theta Galaxy, that's it.
My unit, much like the two comp teams of 228 last night, were fighting MCW matches, which I explained to Deadfire. By the time we finished our matches, there was about 40 minutes to ceasefire and all but my latest night players were gone for the night. Most of us are east-coasters, so the bulk of the team doesn't stay up till Midnight+ to fight what looked like a decided issue.
Now, you're not just "assuming" something, you are making a false statement out of whole cloth. I imagine you misunderstood something DFire told you to get to that point perhaps. Regardless, I don't hold it against you...mistakes happen right?
Secondly, there's no unified CSJ command. Never has been. There are a handful of units (RDL, RSJ, 19th, 9th, DERP, SA, 267th, BSM and JGx largely in the form of Prussian Havoc here and not really otherwise) that try to build a little consensus occasionally on major issues.
Like, on the issue of ceasefires with CGB, how to handle the influx of merc units like QQ who declared an intent to destabilize our border and whether or not to support merc units like 228th/REM who seemed more CSJ-oriented.
By the time I had a conversation with A-Rex with his declared intent to take Tanh Linh and the request that we allow it to happen to give them a peaceful corridor into DCMS space, my team was already knee deep in MCW and the planet was already down 4-territories. It was a fait accompli tossed into our laps, not something I was going to Paul Revere across a half dozen units when I had tournament matches going on.
I did talk to Deadfire about it and made it clear, we as a whole were not pleased with it nor the timing of it (since both comp teams of 228th were in MCW drops, as were SA).
Regardless, it's a moot point now. The planet did NOT open up closer to DCMS space (naiiiiled it) and in fact took them to Nahjma or however it's spelled.
They don't need the corridor, they want the corridor.

Both 228 comp teams had matches as well. Yet we both came to the call. You were not the only unit we came to for support when CGB broke the rules of the trial. We were the only ones however to answer.
The point is far from moot.
They didn't get the lane with this planet, what is to stop CGB from doing it again? Will CSJ once again, "not defend the planet"? How many planets taken by the Clans must fall to CGB because they want to?
The issue right now is CGB believes if they want a planet, they will simply take it cause no one will stand up to them other than "mercs".

As for 228th coming to the call. Good for you and the 228th. I'm not staying up that late, nor asking my players to stay up that late when our MCW matches ended around 1130 EST if they don't want to. It's a ******* game, not a second job. We don't have a huge presence that late at night, which is why the couple who do tend to stay up that late end up dropping with our buds from DERP.
Not sure why you want to continue to say otherwise, but it's simply, factually incorrect. Tanh Linh was an -SA- tagged planet. If you think we wanted to give it to the Bears (when it was rightfully taken from the DCMS anyway), you are mistaken.

228 defended Clan Smoke Jaguar's honor to the fullest, even when their enemies, and Clan brethren did not.
Understood.

Please understand that I am in part responsible for the problems you ran into yesterday.
I went out of my way to #ClearTheDecks for a solitary and decisive 228 and Antonius-Rex-force showdown on Tanh Linh, with my posts and many TeamSpeak clarifications.
When it all went sideways with Rex' perfidy,! It proved to be like the Titanic reversing course, with about the same results it seems.
I am on record within the Smoke Jaguar Alliance forums as ready, willing and eager to drop in support of 228/CSJ to counter ANY future interest of Rex'...

Remember Kerenskys have differing exchange rates between the Clans. So you might end up having more or less input based on your .02 Kerenskys whilst being a member of CSJ as a result.

No, you were still trolling.
It just so happens that an inconsequential to the Peace of CGB/CSJ smallish subset of a single Unit #TurnCoated apparently and went rogue/pirate/bandit if you prefer.
Yeah my friend Dukat (if I may call you that?) you still troll on occasion...

woaaa woaa
I said "I am loading and testing new PC, and was unsure what was exactly going on. And that I heard the group say they had just defended it. And that it was mostly newer players in the group and didn't sound as though it went well. And that they were on an IS planet now."
And to the fact that "someone" told some CJF people not to defend.. Well we have no idea who that was or what it was about. As I said.. Sounded like my guys were just dropping where they felt they could be useful, not part of some agenda..

Maybe it could have been as a detemination of numerous loan wolves responding in addition to the attacking MERC interests that changed the expectations of the playing field?
Maybe it would have been better to have communicated intentions better for this action? Though of course as some people have said and with the neutrality of certain MERC units or Lone wolves, then these arrangements can never fully be realised in CW.
But I'm guessing this was the purpose of the "scientific test" between those MERC units involved?

Sorry and I might have misunderstood the gist of your post but OPN CLAN UNITY (http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__4114431) and similar initiatives, can never be utilized in Clan on Clan conflict as there is no means within game to help a Clan defend against an aggressor Clan. There is NEVER an option to do so.

Do not forgot that it is Clan Ghost Bear who has taken the most worlds from other Clans.
The proof is in the API and the reports made after every attack phase on reddit/r/outreachhpg.
let me fix that for you:
Do not forgot that it was mercenaries, who being allowed to fight for the Clans by PGI totally against the lore, selected Ghost Bear as their faction of choice without the knowledge or consent of said faction, that first took other Clan worlds, starting on the second day of Operation Revival when they attacked both Clan Wolf and us, Clan Smoke Jaguar while the members of Clan Ghost Bear were still trying to figure out how the whole CW thing worked.
