Where ever you can find a deal for crysis wars... IGN's direct drive might still sell it, Origin, Steam, local video game outlets possibly still have it kicking around.

Actually it seems that if you purchase through steam, it's more likely that the problem is that the CD key is improperly formatted (it's missing all the dashes), which is easily fixed by editing a config file (and also a registry entry if that doesn't fix it).

My laptop can't run the game much higher than low-med and maintain good frame rates (the GPU is mobility Radeon HD 5730). That card is roughly equal to a desktop 5570, for reference.
What are your system specs?

And i'm still wanting to upgrade, computer does have tendencies to just lock up for a second, and it takes about 10 minutes to load up everything while connecting to a server, which is a bit of a shame.
The GPU is the single most important factor in framerate. If you want to find out what you have, there's a lot of ways to do it. You can open your graphics control panel, you could run DXDIAG.exe (just use the run function on the start menu or hit Windows Key+r ; I assume you're using XP). You could also download a copy of GPUZ, which is really tiny and simple, and will give you loads of information.
If you're running a 3.0ghz Pentium 4 (Prescott, I assume?), you're probably running a Geforce 6/7 series or Radeon X series (eg X800XT) or X1000 series card, but that's still a huge range of GPUs.

Wrong in all sorts of ways, brah. I had a Geforce 8600 and on ultra-low setting (aka EVERYTHING disabled via an autoexec configuration), I'd rarely top 10 fps on some maps.
You pretty much need at least a Geforce 9800 in order to get a playable FPS.

Agreed; my Mobility Radeon HD 5730 is fairly comparable to a G92-based Geforce 8800 card (maybe an 8800gt?), and while it plays MWLL smoothly on low-medium settings, at very low resolutions, that means there isn't much room for less powerful GPUs.

What do you consider "playable" saber? On my old 8600 256mb card I averaged 25 fps in combat and it was playable to the point that I could end up GC or higher rank every match. Now i have a 9800 1gb and it runs mid 30's. But i do agree mwll is more demanding than the min specs for crysis

Thanks for adding that link Wolf74, I didn't catch this topic Also please bump any existing topics on the issue on MWLL/Beta Board/Technical Issues, we sadly have an excessive amount of those already.
