Title says it all... I don't have a picture because a video would show much better the problem but I'm too lazy to do one so take a look!

I was about to say that only if PGI ask me to show the problem I'll post a video but maybe they don't care at all... what I mean is it won't be a priority to fix this anytime soon.

I have the same issue. In most situations I see my shadow of only the vertical fins of the torsos, and it doesn't bob up/down with my mech. I do recall it working better after a recent patch, but it could also have been the re-installation of Windows 7 & MWO. I'm running a HD7950 with newest drivers.

I reported something similar last August, here and here. Today I see the shadow is less missing but some vertical fins like you say don't move like everything else from the shadow. So I don't know if since August they touched it or not but there is still a problem.

Yeah same problem here as Hydrocarbon. The vertical fin shadows show up and maybe some other bits if I recall right. On all my Jagermechs.

Thanks! What I was too lazy to do... :P Zoomed we would have seen the problem better, if you happen to redo it. ;)

This has been in the game since the JM came out a long, long time ago.

It also has been reported about ten million times since then, but I guess it's an incredibly low priority bug which is getting pushed down again and again by more urgent ones.

I've seen this on all my Jagermechs, on all my Graphics Cards, it's definately not something only your guys have.

So you kind of confirm there are such low priority things that will never get fixed because there is always something more important showing up and they are mostly focusing on adding new content... you reinforce my idea of once every 3-4 months (see signature) they should take a break of the usual patch planning to concentrate on things like this that accumulate over time. But some claim that I just don't understant how it works in a box like PGI.

I would like to find the millions of reports you're talking about to see how many time it has been reported.

Ok I took 5 minutes to do it... I will show you exactly what the problem is.

You'll clearly see in FPV vertical fins not moving with mech, and in TPV those fins are not there.

Sorry for crap resolution, I recoded in half-res from Full HD so that's brings it to 960x540 and YouTube can't present it in that resolution so it goes a step lower.

I have a personal bug list of over 45 bugs that I have reported, only about 4 of which are fixed. PGI really need to just pause content for a bit and get rid of them all, as they bring down the entire experience and make the game feel really low quality.
