I made peace with the fact that PGI was going to have to balance the clans with the IS shortly after the TBR-S nerf. Since we weren't getting 10v12 the two sides would have to be in parity with one another.

I personally think we're pretty close now, (what with over half of clan weapons having been nerfed or not working the way they originally did) though I don't have access to the data that PGI does.

That said, I hope PGI uses actual empirical data to decide what gets buffs, as opposed to basing anything off people complaining on the forums.

I'm wary of mech specific nerfs, mostly because it will effect min/maxers less that those who actually like a particular chassis.
People who are using laser vomit TBR's will just move to the next best min/max. Meanwhile, those of us using stock or close to stock builds (TBR-D for me) will get the shaft.

At leats with clan mechs, stock ones come with Endosteel or ferro, strait from the get go, with IS you have to buy the mech, for maybe 66% the price of an equal weighted clan mech, but then double the money of the original mech price, to get an XL engine, endosteel, and double heatsinks.
