Minor leagues are created to support Major leagues by developing players.

Precisely! Major League teams aren't allowed to prey on Little League teams because the little guys won't learn anything from being stomped so hard and some might quit baseball altogether instead of being "developed". Perfect analogy!

CW is not affecting stats. At least not for the majority of players. There might be some bug though but at the moment no one has confirmed this is happening. Most people probably takes anything the op says with a large pinch of salt.

i can confirm 100% that cw affected stats for me on quite a few occations. Stats on mechs i only use in CW changed after playing CW. But there seems to be some inconsistency with it. I just won a CW match, had 8 kills with a mech and it didn't affect stats.

Two things...

1. OP is worth disregarding in general.
2. It seems to be a bug, possibly related to the tourneys that track stats in all game modes. Maybe we can test it next time there's a tourney.

This very moment my TW primes k/d went down from 4.15 to 4.13 while playing a CW match (Counterattack, won it), so it seems like it isn't tournament exclusive. I literally checked the k/d before and after the CW match, it changed.

Well if CW is affecting stats, it should affect stats on wins not just loses, it's not affecting mine for wins that is for sure. I am not sure it is affecting mine for losses either, I only lost a few this week, and I deserved that as I was either solo or in a 2-3 man.

so the question is: Is CW really only affecting stats for losses and not for wins?

Add up the total wins and loses from your games modes tab and compare it to your total wins and loses from your base stats page. For me those two sets of numbers are different and correspond directly to my CW experience. As I only play CW it is really easy to see.

Are you saying that yours are the same?

Your still wrong. The only reason Major League teams do not play Minor is the mechanics about why the Minor Leagues even exist...created for the purpose of developing folks. It has nothing to do with "prey".

Personally I've encountered this guy in game. So many tears about everything. Do they have an individual player "Block" system set for chat?

You're just repeating what you last said and I already demolished that.

OP needs to cry more after voluntarily entering a group-queue game (seriously, you -knew- what was coming) and finding out that he can't be Rambo.

12-man team mode. If you drop into it without a sizable majority of your team being organized, you're dogmeat.

Annoyed that you're not part of that organized force? Get into one. Liao teams generally tell people their TS and don't care if you have the same unit tag. They just want to play a team mode with as organized a team as possible.

Again, CW is not for large amounts of PUGs. It is, by default, group queue. They're adding 4v4 specifically to give PUGs a less-team-impacted opportunity for CW, but that's not what you have right now.

I can also confirm that CW stats affect game stats. I'm hoping this is a bug and they can split it apart. While it means nothing, I do like the metrics to see how I do in the solo queue. Adding the CW numbers into that really skew that metric. You can die four times and get no kills in CW and still win the match. Or you can get 12 kills and not contribute much. Let the CW sandbox be separate.

Someone last night came up with the theory that it might be counterattack mode that's counting. This makes sense, as they probably just copy pasted much of the code.

CW is a exercise in seal clubbing , MAny fights are lost before they begin.

With 12 mans , no elo

This is unacceptable

That is exactly what PGI posted CW would be. Did you perhaps change Caves and not update your internet connection recently?

And where do you think Minor League players go to play and get better? The Major Leagues. Yes, not all make the grade, and end up sent back to the Minors, but without facing the Major Leaguer's, those same Minor Leaguer's would never know if they can make the grade.

So Yes, Minor and Major Leagues most definitely need each other and that interaction is where the cream of the crop is found.

Perhaps, what many of those who don't like Major League play need do is to just stay in the Minor's. It is very obvious many just ain't got what it takes to be a Major league caliber player.

Therefore you agree with me: they should NOT be forced to fight the pros if they don't want to. Case closed. :)

Unfortunately if you don't want to play CW as PGI Intended (which I personally believe WAR is the same way) then you should stick to the Public Queue for regular drops and not play CW.....War is Hell my friend....War is Hell.

Exactly. I have never played Community Warfare because based on how PGI described how it worked just before it went live, I knew what would happen: ghost drops, Units changing sides every week, PUG-stomping, only the last few hours before every ceasefire having any meaning, Spawncamping Mode and CW (constant waiting). I'm definitely sticking to the public solo-only queue.

Being penalized to feed a 12 man a free win.......

Good luck keeping CW alive .

Community Warfare is NOT intended for casual solo players. this has been stated by Russ Bullock before.

CW is for those who WANT a challenge. its for those who WANT to work hard for a win. And despite what certain individuals say, large premade groups IN GENERAL (Im not speaking of every single unit so dont give me that bullcorn) DISLIKE playing against pug teams. We DONT LIKE stomping pugs. its not fun. Its actually rather boring. We would MUCH rather have a challenge against a team that knows wtf theyre doing and puts up a good fight. But CW is available for solos because some pople couldnt be content with having a solo que for themselves (which MOST premades supported for the reasons I just stated) and wanted to be included in CW without having to join a Team (in a team game... but thats a whole other can of worms). So they let solo players join in, and it gets us here. CW is HARDCORE mode (Russ's own words) and certain solos seem to think they should be on "even footing" even though theres absolutely no way thats ever gonna happen unless you have the same dedication and time to put in as your opponent does. Even then the skill difference is likely to be the issue, and theres no way they could do that and maintain any sort of decent time in the drop que.

TL:DR CW is not for Casual solos. It is for those who want hardcore. Solos are allowed in CW because they want to be. Thats a choice. Dont like the challenge? Dont be there.[/color]

What part of "we want to battle people who are our equals" do you not understand? Read it again.

Agreed, but you're wasting your breath.

No matter how many times you explain to the tryhards that seal-clubbing is an idiotic game mode, for both sides in the fight, they don't get it. Every logical statement is met with "You're a bad and sux, so get rekted!" We'd have better luck reasoning with a wall than those types - they simply don't get it... partly because trashing noobs is what they enjoy in this game, and even though there's no skill or honor in it, they'll never understand.

Why is why CW needs some form of skill-based balancing. As long as it's nothing but an idiotic, no-holds-bar free-for-all show of teams rolling PUG's, it will remain a niche, joke of a game mode and will never be taken seriously by most of the MWO population.

"Hard-core mode" my arse... no "hard-core mode" hands out free wins regularly by providing hapless targets to shoot... That's like pitting a high-school football team against an NFL team for the Super-Bowl and calling it "hardcore mode" to justify the one-sided idiocy.

It's nobody's "fault" but in online gaming you never match the untrained against the highly trained. It's also the same reason why little leaguers are never forced to fight against major league baseball teams. This isn't War where the objective is to stack the odds in your favor to get as lopsided a victory as possible; it's a Game and few will play it if it's not fair, just like in baseball.
Actually this is due to the Pros being you know Paid professionals.

As for the objective of THIS game. It is to win and have fun. Winning is obvious, but having fun is situational. I can and do have fun both stomping and being stomped, its all part of competing against living breathing opponents. To stomp the opponent is a perfect victory. It should happen not often but it should happen. it is the testament to the team doing everything right AND having a bit of luck.

I'll tell you this if I can be part of a 12-1 win and I'm the only death, I'm happy Just like if I am in a 1-12 stomp IF I got the kill or assisted getting it.
