It would be really nice to have an ability to make some "pre-saved" combination of mechs in CW. It will help to avoid changing "Dropship-configuration" in a hurry, at 1min before the beginning of the match, according to gamemode ("attack" or "defend").
Sorry for my bad language... hope, someone still can understand the idea ^^

No.

This can be abused. (Personally I haven't seen it being done exclusively yet and I rather not see it at all.)
Players need learn to use balanced drop decks else face the risk using the wrong unbalanced drop deck for the given match type.

Very much in favor; I now change my drop deck based on the map and if it is attack or defense and how the drop commander wishes us to prepare during drop prep. Would be nice if you could just choose a deck from a drop-down menu.

@ Shin: there is no abuse, really, you can change it without trouble and many people do so already.

Makes sense to me, Id like to see it as well. That or a longer change over period. Ive been in situations where the drop commander or my CW lance has changed things up a bit and I need to make changes to my usually light drop ship (2 lights, 1 fast medium, 1 heavy) and dislike the hurried pace required.

Either that or the mech selection system needs to be vastly overhauled for quick transitions.
