Do get all three - it has OK hit boxes, short and stumpy profile with great quirks . Works well with XL, I lean towards speed as i like tto relocate fast to next threat.
Shadowhawks get more module space, better torso weaps placement, but taller and less quirks - so far trade between the two.

Wolves: Ones a AC5 Dakka fiend, one 3 LPL fiend, and mine is a close range fist in face fiend :)

6 small pulse Jenner.

Adv. sensors
Weapon Range 5 small pulse
Cooldown 5 small pulse
airstrike module
UAV
Airstrike

Nothing like getting hit with a AC 20 with a unlimited supply of ammo. Or 2 shooting a lights leg. Full lances have died to this mech.

It really depends on my mood.

Actually I'm on Bishop's therapy, but with my Cent 20AC and 3srm4.

Then when I want to wreck everything Atlas ac20+4srm4+2ml
(mmmm.... am I becoming a brawler?.... I always define myself as sniper/skirmisher....)

Then Locusts. They are OP. Seriously. (in puglandia)

KGC-000(L) (or KGC-000B) loaded for MOAR DAKKA. 4 x UAC/5 and either 2 MPL (000) or 3 ML (0000).

I'm fine with the speed with a standard 300. The only problem I've ever had with an Atlas or Dire Wolf is maneuverability, and the KGC completely fixes that. It's not fast, but it's a brutal brawler because it can twist and turn much better than those other two.

Deliberately engaged a Pirate's Bane yesterday on Alpine near the end of the match. Yeah, he's going to try to stay behind me. I knew that. I figured his legs were probably already at least partially damaged, plus I had my lasers to scrape them up a bit more, then the 20-pt alpha would only need to connect once and he'd be mine. And that's pretty much exactly how it went. He even moved to intentionally engage me, probably figuring that I'd be any easy lumbering kill.

Summoner, hands down. 2x4 streaks and 3x 6streaks and BAP. The speed boost helps get around, plus I have the advantage of jump jets, unlike the stormcrow.

Hunting down lights is so much fun :D

^^^ @Roadkill

I run exactly the same build on my crab and love it. My very first game when we got it in December was just shy of 1k damage and 5 kills, completely unbasiced. When I finished basics on it I had 30some kills and 4 deaths.

Gotta have something to balance out my 20 kills/126 deaths Oxide. Doh!

It varies from time to time, but I'm digging the Vindicator 1AA. It has an XL295 with 2LPLasers and 2 MLasers. Fun little mech. I'm also enjoying the Vindi 1R with an XL235 and 2PPCs and 3 SLasers.

Fun stuff.

I don't have a "Happy Happy Joy Joy Mech" currently.

Most (or all) meta builds aren't my style, and I have to concentrate pretty hard to successfully roll non-bandwagon loadouts. Overall, the game is still fun, but I don't really have a mech that I would consider "HHJJ"... -_-

I'm also loving my sparky .... 3 LL (after having tried the 5 or 6 ML + 1 LPL metamechsbuild and some others ... they all only have 1 jumpjet ... but I love the jumping ...).

Maybe I'll try your setup too :D

I love playing my Adders. Duel ERPPC Adders are so much fun haha.

On the IS side, I really enjoy playing my Trebuchets.

My mastered Dragon-1n with ac/5 cooldown and range modules, nothing like dumping 100 rounds of ac ammo into an oblivious direwolf/crab and moving on to the next, i've been regularly pulling 1000-1200 damage games in it, i average about 900 and very rarely go below 600 unless it's a stomp. That mech is an absolute monster if you can position well enough to be ignored.

That is a monster mech. The dakka is amazing. I have to wonder why it is that I see so few of them. Either coincidence, or maybe people are still use to the old (crappy) Dragon...
