You're still alive 2:23 into the match, which means you didn't get spotted in the first seconds and in fact failed to take cover when you should have. At 100 kph in a Stormcrow you could have been halfway across the map if you'd wanted to.

I almost never run AMS or ECM. When I'm not lurmming, say I'm tooling around in a fat AWS-8Q or HBK-4G, they don't bother me much. I stick to cover, move with cover, know where cover is at all times and how fast can I make it to cover when the rain begins. Not a problem at all. Also, if I have two mech module slots, one is always Radar Dep. If there's AMS cover, cool. If there's ECM cover, cool. If not, there's always cover near by.

This post makes me want to pull out LRMs now. HBK-4J... here I come! That thing is a rapid fire LRM beast.

That's one of the most horrid acts of piloting I've seen lately. Heck, you could have hit cover in six different directions before taking that much spread damage to leg you. You missed the UAV,too.

Situational awareness. It's lack gives more missile boats kills than anything else.

And best of all?

You went on the forums and advertised it.
