I like to have smurphy's open to whatever I need to see while building (equipment, loadouts, quirks) The forums in another tab for all the QQ's, and youtube/spotify open for music whilst playing.

What do you have on your second (or third+) monitor while playing MWO?

My display set up. (50$ standard vesa mounting, would recommend, http://www.amazon.co...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Teamspeak, Mumble, Steam, and Skype. All the possible ways friends might contact me or I might be communicating with them.

I tend to watch Rooster Teeth or Achievement Hunter videos, or TV shows that I missed earlier in the week. When those are all exhausted, I run Netflix. Occasionally, I'll have a Podcast going, or a Twitch stream.

On weekdays I live stream, so the secondary monitor is the stream and twitch chat, as well as Winamp (yes, I still use Winamp). Primary is the game in full screen mode, and I can Alt+TAB over to OBS (broadcasting software) or Task Manager (because sometimes stuff gets weird, and it's nice to Alt+TAB over and just kill something).

Weekends, when I don't stream, sometimes Winamp, as often as not nothing.

Think of the 1/3 on each side of that screen being angled to your left and right though, it would look so glorious.

OH GOD, NO...Now if I ever come into the disposable money, I want to get 3 massive monitors without bezels between them and angle 2 to my sides. HNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG...

It has been "a thing" for a while now. It isn't "the thing", however.

That said, a second monitor is a nice low end luxury addition to your computer, especially if you want to reference two things back and forth without swapping between them or forcing them to share space on a single screen. First time I used a 2 screen setup was when I was doing an analyst job in the Army, it was very convenient to have reference material open on one screen while typing up a report on the other.
