Solution to Clan Mechs in CW:

On May 1st, 3052, allow the IS to use Clan Mechs (since the ComGuard did).

I think you need to re-read your sources. The ComGuard used STAR LEAGUE mechs, not Clan mechs.

We are already using Star League era tech in MWO on the IS side.

Comm Guards use absolutely ZERO clan mechs on May1 3052, not even a single IIC model.

And I don't think I'd want to stake the fate of the Inner Sphere on their capabilities in the cockpit . . .
