For the Oxide, I don't want to imagine a 6 SSRM2 Oxide trolling things but I'd figure it would be a mobile Streaktaro of doom.

About the Ox, I think that just highlights the flaws of MWO's Streak SRM mechanics rather than a problem with having 6 hardpoints on a light mech.

Seeing as how a Mad Dog can boat SIX SSRM6's, and a Crow can mount 5 of them, I don't think an Oxide with 6 streak two's can be considered OP in the current environment. A fun troll build, yes.

there was talk of putting two machine guns on the Oxide
i think that would be nice addition to him

most of the heros do well, but some could certainly use some more love

Nothing in the files for MGs presently, just Energy and Missiles.

I think a pair of E hardpoints would be a bit more useful than 2B.

I'd be so happy to have JJs on my La Malinche and that VTR-9A. All sounds so fun. And yeah all the VND's should get one extra missile hardpoint. They need it.

The only suggestion I had for that was to put the 2E in the CT.

It would limit its power indirectly, but at least it wouldn't suck outright.

It's only natural to invert the Jenner-D... ;)

Of course, this requires additional modeling, but whatever.

I'm not sure why they would m model a10 crit-slot left arm on the victor, stock 9A only mounts a MG there. Of course even with 9 crits it would put many Jaeger and caraphracts out of business.

You mean a left torso? It has 12 crit slots in a torso..

Balancing factor: No AC20 with XL engine, Gauss with XL will be sketch

This is the reason why i think the VTR-9A never made it into the game yet (more or less, look at the RT/RA of both the 9A and the Dragon Slayer, and consider that the 9A could mount an AC/20).

the VTR-9A is just a VTR-9B with reduced armor in exchange for 2xMGs and 2x Flamers

Well you can always balance with quirks, less max JJs, and lower engine cap

Ahh. The description made it sounds like the left arm. Still a chassis with enough tonnage and HP to make the jager and cataphract much less common.

Wow, a JJ La Malinche *gasp*. It'd make it really attractive despite its silly layout.

I totally get why they didn't put that Victor variant in. The P2W calls would have drowned out the forums.

Why? It would be a standard variant, available for c-bills, not a Hero

Yes, ever since you called the La Malinche the "Oakland Raiders" of mechs I just want it to be awesome. Imagine, the La Malinche getting JJs and the Chiefs being stomped by the Raiders twice, all in one calendar year? I can taste your salty tears now.

It's time to raise the engine caps of the Golden Boy and IV-Four. These were wronged in fear of P2W, and we're far beyond that argument now.

Where is the P2W? The La Malinche? Please...

Edit: Not that I am not in favor of increasing those engine caps

But seriously, that Victor. Oh my glob. That Victor is the Victor that Victors need, and after quirks it's also the Victor that Victors deserve.

EDIT: literally sitting in my chair giggling at all the builds it would make possible. Heck we could remove the JJs from it and it would still be a good mech.

Yes, and when poptarting was a thing you only needed 1JJ to get the same thrust as what we get from 3-4 now. They need to help the heavier mechs, but the lighter ones get plenty out of JJs. I don't think there are really any Novas complaining about their JJ effectiveness right now, I know I'm not. They need to increase thrust generated for larger mechs, or give them a higher JJ cap. I wouldn't expect a single JJ to do any more than it does right now.

I don't know if they have the JJs coded correctly to be honest...there are different classes of JJs which if I understand correctly are restricted to the type of Mech they're on because they should produce different amounts of thrust and compensate for heavier mechs. Obviously the lighter ones will still be better jumpers, but the Heavies with JJs we have no running 4/5 that can barely hover is not what should be happening.
