The Kentares IV purging is an event that happened in the Lore, So comments about it are on the same scale as say the Clans bombing Turtle Bay.

I think the point he's trying to make is that genocide ain't funny. Ironically, it's even *less* funny in asia, where memories - and grudges - are long.

The accusation of genocide has been contested by Kuritan historians for nearly 150 years. Planetary genocide goes against the bushido code, and would bring great shame upon our leaders. It is our earnest hope that Coordinator Jinjiro will be absolved of these allegations, pending the release of the ISF's complete report.

Any posts in this thread about planet Kentares IV and shameful actions of Fed Suns rats on planet. No discussion of Terra intended, implied, be inferred from this thread.

Here we exult in victory for Dear Coordinator and great glory of bushido spirit!

No one is saying you can't. Just that you may - MAY - look like a tool when you do. Not *do* look like a tool, but *might* look like a tool, depending on the 'joke'.

Don't get your panties in a bunch about a - polite - warning that other people might get their panties in a bunch.

Would that be the bushido spirit that leaves your homeworld a spot of red in an ever increasing sea of gray?

Must not have gotten that memo - although subdividing the forums into IC and RL subsets might not be a bad idea

We were too late to to keep Kentares IV from being overrun but there is a resistance established. The forces of Robinson have established a hold on the planet of Olancha to launch counter operations against these Combine scum. As long as a single Ranger draws breath there will be hope for the liberation of our Davion brothers and sisters! We will not go quietly into the night! For the Prince! For freedom! FOR KENTARES!!!

Any MechWarrior of the RRB will resist the tyranny of the dragon with our dying breath! We beckon you to keep bleeding yourselves out on our soil while the invaders known as Clan Smoke Jaguar run over your capital worlds continuing to split the Combine in half! Your not taking near enough of our territory as fast as you lose in the north! Your zerg of Kentares IV will only fan the fires in the hearts of the sons of Davion to stand fast against the dragon. Soon you will be too weak from your wounds and they will be too great for you to continue your southern expansion, then you shall feel the wrath of the Federated Suns! AND HEAR THIS! If you do make it to the threshold of Robinson be ready for the fight of your lives! There is no unit more fiercely devoted to protecting its home planet then the Rangers!!! OORAH!

Davion has lost Kintares before, under similar circumstances. The fight was after most of us were already gone.

We'll get it back. The only question is if we're going to have to get it back from Kurita, or CSJ.

*tilts head forward a little bit, maybe it was a bow?* I respect your spirit, always good characteristic for warrior. However seems you have trouble reading map. Clan Smoke Jaguar at standstill against Kuritan forces, our homeworld reclaimed. Maybe Clan Davion can't defend planet because read map upside down and run away from Kurtian forces! Ha ha

The only faction with a history of running away is also, coincidentally, the one that talks the most trash.

Kurita does great against CSJ -

when someone else is fighting the Clans for them. When the Clans don't show up though the fearless rage of Kurita units is legend among maintenance crews for CSJ turrets!

When CSJ shows up in force though, critical tactical decisions for where to deploy Kurita forces involve them going somewhere else.

I find it funny that Kurita is so excited over taking Kentares, but I don't see all the celebration for all the brave merc units who reconnected Kurita with Luthien, rescuing their homeworld from the Jaguars.

Perhaps 'Proud supplier of soda and chips for fearless mercenaries who rescued Kurita Homeworld' as a signature tag?

Your senseless optimism is both baffling and endearing, Davion pilot.
