Currently, your Mech Stats page does not display your C-Bill earnings on a per-mech basis (hint hint PGI hint), but it does show your accumulative XP earnings. By dividing the XP by the number of matches played in that mech, you can determine the average XP per match.

I did this for my own mechs, and here are the results in order:

2278.58511 = BNC-3M (4x LPL+MLs)
1929.59375 = WVR-6K (3x LPL)
1740.33333 = TDR-9SE (3x LPL+MLs)
1608.35556 = TDR-5SS (7x MPL / 4x ERLL)
1552.54545 = TDR-9S (3x ERPPC)
1339.42066 = CDA-3M (2x LPL)
1160.88462 = RVN-3L (LPL+MLs)
1128.62791 = TBT-7M (LRM30)
1123.34667 = LCT-1E (6x SPL)
1098.79545 = JM6-A (4x SRM6+LBX)
1011.27273 = CTF-3D (2x LPL+AC10)
1071.79412 = GFN-1N (3x SRM+MLs)
1011.27273 = LCT-3S (4x SRM2)
992.707547 = JR7-F (6x ML)
982.061728 = FS9-A (7x SPL)
881.076923 = BNC-3E (3x AC5+MPLs)
863.560801 = JR7-D (4x ML+Narc)
845.681818 = WVR-6R (2x AC5+3x SRM2)
808.577778 = JM6-DD (sold/forget)
710.255319 = JM6-S (sold/forget)

Assuming that XP earnings are fairly analogous to C-Bill earnings, I can easily now suppose that my Wubshee is my best C-Bill farming mech.

So my questions are...
1. Do you think that making this comparison between XP and C-Bill earnings is tenable?
2. What mechs are your best performers?
3. Any advice on maximising C-Bill earnings?

Yes, you can definitely say that you make more c-bills when you make more xp under normal circumstances. It's not a perfect correlation, as you can't tell the actual amount, but you can normally be accurate saying you made more.

What mechs are my best performers? For sure my JM6-DD (now transfering over to JM6-S, for better dakka) and my Warhawk B, for all situation fire support (4 lrm 10's, 2 erLL, 2 erML .. hot, but brutal). Runner up being my BLR-1G, which stopped seeing action upon the arrival of the clans, due to range. But it stills works ok!

Do bear in mind that stats page is never reliable--Especially on the number of drops you participated in. Also, CW matches **** up your calculations since you get obscene amount of rewards per game.

From my most played mechs:

Timbie-S--1700
STK-5M -- 1491
Timbie Prime -- 1245
Atlas-S --1234 (+30% C-Bill)
Direwhale Prime -- 1186
CPLT-A1 -- 1045
AWS-8R -- 944
Dragon Slayer -- 690 (+30% C-Bill)

Seems lurming helps me earn the most XP.

If it didn't count the drop in the number of drops, then it probably also didn't count the XP for that drop. Either way, it would affect all mechs equally and with a large enough sample size this effect should be statistically insignificant.

Unless I'm informed wrongly, CW matches didn't count at all towards any of your stats until very recently, so they should have minimal effect on your stats at this very moment. Also, CW's XP rewards are split between the mechs your fielded, so the rewards aren't as great as they seem. And even if CW does count in the stats and it does make a significant impression upon the stats, then it's still fair game because then obviously CW is a part of your typical gameplay anyways and if you know that you use that mech in CW, you can gauge for yourself whether or not the time spent in CW is ultimately worth it for efficient rewards 'farming'.

My only real concern might be the x2 daily XP bonuses and Premium Time bonuses. However, assuming this is spread around all of your mechs at some point, it should also be statistically at least somewhat insignificant as well.

You are welcome to disagree. =]

The stats tend to omit a lot of "drops" and "time played" stats, but it will count stats such as "damage done", and "hit %" earned from those omitted matches. Therefore, it could count the XP as well.

CW matches take much longer to find and finish so the stats will be messed up if you use certain mechs in CW frequently. Similar deal with Conquest mode too. The queue takes longer but the rewards are higher than Skirmish, per game.
