Look how awesome this mech could of been! Not the craptasric horribly scaled tiny gun having POS that we have now.

"The centurion standing before them lacked the bulkiness of some other humanoid Mechs. Though its slender lines made it seem more alive, the auto cannon muzzle that replaced its right hand would never let anyone mistake it for a living creature."

Top tip
Telling Paul to put his tackle in a food blender for castrating the Wang, would not be respectful, and shouldn't be part of a petition address
Read the one I quoted. It explains why in the spoiler tag

And don't start telling me I need to learn how twist and shield. Before the clans I could regularly get a cent sub 20%. Personal best was 9% as I recall.
The point, even with good twisting it was still easy for targets to nuke your gun.

Though admittedly I also like the mech's appearance reflecting its loadout. Would it be so difficult to have a middle ground by using the old designs for certain weapons (as suggested on page 1 even) or being able to choose between the two even if it means worse hitboxes? You can't compare combat effectiveness against pure, unadulterated style. Style wins, every time.
Of particular note are the mechs that had the weapons already reflected in their designs before they got the dynamic hardpoints, AC20s look pathetic in comparison to the old versions, and PPCs often got turned into stubby little battle armor handles instead of actually looking like massive particle cannons.

WOULD LOVE FOR PGI TO CHIME IN. Even if it's to say "no.". I hate having false hope.

When you login and see that whimpy stub that used to signify all that was sudo Davion Freedom - Cappellan Angst:
The rage that ensues after you realize the devs dont care:
Dear PGI staff, for Kerensky's sake, please make an ac20 ylw have the old arm model. I dont care if the hitbox is better or worse when compared to the new model... I just want people to see there is a reason my centurion isnt packing any missiles.
The YLW has always been a pilots mech, especially in the lore. I wanna look as good as I feel when I take out those clanner scum with my 30 firepower!!

Not only has support not respond to my inquiry. I've also tweeted Russ a half dozen times. He won't respond to questions regarding hit box or graphic changes. As a paying customer asking about a mech I PAID FOR. I'm a little upset. A simple retweet of "no no plans" or "no I don't care" would make me more satisfied then being ignored.
YLW is the ONLY reason I play this game. Don't put the nail in your own coffin I've already stopped buying MC and went back to GW as being my micro transaction game. Why? Because their support usually replies within 24 hours. Oh, and the game has a consistent experience unlike MWO.

Another day in the dark. Maybe I'll change my twitter handle to bishop Steiner or roadbeer. That might get a reply!
