My first 2 Enforcers:

ENF-4R

ENF-4R

second one runs a bit hot, but both seem to work quite well so far

Think of LBX as this game's pump action shot gun: little to no use at long range, very fun and very damaging at point blank range.

Except in real life, you can shoot a pump shotgun VERY fast, where as in MWO, the "pump action shotgun" fires at the same rate as that bolt action rifle. I think reducing LB10X cooldown by .5-.8 seconds would help the weapon immensely

most likely XL255, endo, 2 LPL and an AC/5. ammo and jump jets up to personal preference.

may also give AC/10 plus 2 LL a try.

Hmmm, sounds good, I just thought either of those would be too much weight to fit on, I guess not haha

ENF-4R: Reallocate ammo to preference.

ENF-5D: I'll give the LBX a chance, but if it doesn't work out...

ENF-5D: I'll switch to this instead.

ENF-5P: Eek, only one laser!

Probably not gonna be the best 50-tonner, but it's not gonna be terrible either.

What i dont like is low mounted torso energy points.
5P has waist high energy point, while in 5D your first energy point is also waist line,
so to get PPC/LPL on shoulder point, you need to fill up lover one with SL.

Dual ultra5 do work well, 4 ac2 will be to heavy....

I've started off by looking at the 4R.

My first though was to go with the quirks as much as possible so I'm sticking with an AC10 and a couple of large lasers. So far I've added double heat sinks and endosteel (natch). I've moved the large lasers into the torso, pulled off the jump jets and added in a couple more tons of AC10 ammo. I've dropped in a slightly larger (but a lot lighter) XL engine, added plenty of armor and dropped in the AC10 cooldown modification along with coolant flush.

So far it seems to be working out OK.

How does the XL work in the Enforcer? So far I only played the 4R and I run a standard 260 in that. The Torso seems pretty small so XL could be worth a try.

I run a 4R with a std 240, 5 medlasers and a AC10. Works well so far.

My first 4R: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...75fb0c93bc7b0e5

Likely something like that (though move back armor around). If I find that's too much ammo, I'll swap one ton for another heat sink.

Unsure on the others. I may throw a gauss on one

Strangely enough, it used to be the case that the LB 10-X was slightly faster-firing than the AC/10. They only got the same cooldown about, oh, four-six months ago I think?

My personal build.
Forgoing the jumpies for a bigger engine, more speed, more versatility, and more firepower. Though the three lasers equipped can be swapped for 3 medium pulses, should you want extra Heat Sinks/Jumpies/Ammo.

So...... I just went 6-4 in a pug match and figgured I'd share my build. 3 medium pulses and an LB 10X. Works. Lights don't respect the wombo combo of the medium pulses and the LB 10X. The fire rate increase is pretty cool.It seems to be reasonably tanky, so that's a plus as well. The JJs worked well enough to get me over small buildings and blap those tiny mechs hiding behind them.

My most successful build so far has been a lethal joke build with 4 MGs and a LPL. Not great against anything, but if you see a guy with open armor, he seems to just fall out. So good enough for now. I was debating trying a dual gauss joke build, but it's just a little tonnage short of useable and I really can't waste any more money on my new toys until I pay the DHS tax for my Locust 1E for the switchover post-requirkening.

it is indeed very tough to crack. the 5D immediately became one of my favourite mechs in game.

I am satisfied so far. 5D may be slightly less effective than CN9-D, but with 12% CD module on LBX it is still very viable. 5P on the other hand is great fun.

Gunslinger (feels like old west) and Ripper (believe me or not I put down a King Crab face to face I guess he wasn't very good).

This mech begs for XL as it's side torsos are really slim. I think Enforcer may be a replacement for CN9. It's not straight up better but for someone who prefers to entrust his durability to smaller silhouette (just compare to CN9) rather than rapid torso twist it's really good choice.

Not a great jumper, but the weaponry is pretty nice to handle.

The Enforcer is a nice little mech. It's agile and very XL friendly. These are my builds so far.

ENF-5D - Brawler/Harasser. I ran this most of last night and did very well with it, averaging 400 damage and ending the night with a 1.8 KDR. You could always drop a ton of ammo or two JJs to switch to a standard AC10.

ENF-5P - The sawed off boomstick! This is just a fun build that worked decently well. Trying to figure out how to get more ammo on it without slowing it down too much...

ENF-4R - The bouncer. This was made to closely resemble the party styled mechs (Partystarter, Partyback, ect). Great cooling efficiency and good DPS, I haven't tried this one out in an actual game yet but it has some promise!

And yes, I like running LBX autocannons. Preference man, preference.
