Not saying your 3xERLL build doesn't work for you, but I can't help but think the 4R does it better.
You can even pop in 4xLL and end up with similar range, but better DPS.
The only downside is it can't move quite as quickly.

It can't move as quickly and you now have to fire the lasers in pairs. Also, less efficient cooling. The 3x ERLL is hot enough as it is.

I'd much rather have LLs on the 5D while keeping the AC/10 setup on the 4R. The 4R is perfect for 400+/-m while the current 5D setup is good for 1600+m.

But to each their own. If I could I would trade out my 5D for another 4R and run 4LL on one, AC/10 and lasers on ther other.

So I didn't want to share this one, for fear of the nerf stick or people getting a bead on it, but...if it helps my fellow ISers:

ENF-4R

5MPLs, STD engine, an AMS, a couple jump jets, max speed. You can dump the AMS (or go with an XL) if you want to add a BAP, although you'll also need to dump the Endo.

Is the ENF-4R 12.5% energy heat reduction quirk even doing anything?
Trying to work out if 3xLL is triggering ghost heat or not, but it also looks like the quirk is doing nothing?
More details here: http://mwomercs.com/...s/page__st__260

Trying it in the testing ground?
Last time I checked that patch did not effect the TG.

No live match, video in linked thread.
It definitely doesnt work in TG but doesnt look like it does online either unless it is just a funny hud not showing it?

No idea - I have not been following the 3LL issue very much
That was just something that keeps coming up - but people seem to not notice.

Still saving up cbills for crab money, blow all my saving on module sales.
So currently my Enforcer is still running SHS, FF and stock engine, but it seem to be doing well even on Therma.

ENF-5D
1x AC10, 2x ML, 1x MPL, XL250
Top speed of 81kph, it get to hang with the heavies or slow down to mix with the assault and provide fire support.
It is dead if caught alone or target by brawler.

I've been having some decent success with this build. It runs an XL 250, a LB-10X with 3 tons of ammo, a Large Pulse and a Medium Laser.

The only thing I learned is that it's a Jumping Centurion, and basically junk with it's hard points. The quirks are just bad too for they're for weapons that are giant wastes of tonnage, and you don't have the space to upgrade to weapons worth having.

I know one guy who's done the 4 AC2 build. I don't know if it's doing that well.

then again, I think the centurion is a garbage mech too... so... what do I know. I'm just grinding on them.

The 4R and the 5D are pretty nice, but I'm really struggling with the incredibly low hardpoints... The 4R in particular has two energy points in the torso, one is pretty good but the other one is a lot lower. So a lot of the time I hit the ground with one but not the other. Not a fan of that.

Honestly the mechs themselves are pretty solid (5P needs help) but they aren't good. Those hardpoints really need to be higher before they can be called good.

I find the 4P in energy boat configuration OK.
The thing you have to remember is that it is unusual as a lefty, have to change some habits. Terrible if circling Caustic counterclockwise for example, all but the top laser will clip.

Here is mine 5D: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...2a39c23b5a416b7

Fast, faster. And really deadly in the right hands.

I really love him, but yeah, it is a little kind of waitin ***** until the match goes in a state of really close brawlin and everyone is ct open and crit and ****.

But then the 5D begins to shine. Really bright shinin...

In my opinion the LBX is a quite underestimated weapon. It has his weaknesses, yeah. But it also have decent strengths. And in a 5D with the quirks and a CDR Module it is a nice weapon for everyone that could use his strengths in a right way.

Often i see a enemy 5D and he gives me a bunch of pellets out of 500m and more. Yeah pretty ****. Use the weapon in its right environment and it will be very useful.

greetings

I'm actually loving the Enforcer. I upgraded my package a few days ago because of interest in the Grasshopper, and was just leveling the Enforcer since the heavy queue was even more populated than usual. Now having mastered both mechs, I must say that the Enforcer is capable of a far more consistent performance.

The first thing I realized is that the 4R is by far the strongest variant, and then that ballistics are generally a waste on all but the 5P.

The 4R is a great laserboat, and I would guess someone has already posted this somewhere, but it deserves to be posted again. This little guy is nasty, like the LL wolverine but without the "laserfist" hitbox.

The 5D can't match the alpha potential of the 4R, but it can mount a larger engine allowing for a more mobile setup.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3436e0ed543b247

I feel the 5P to be the weakest variant, but it is loads of fun. The weakness is in the inability to bring enough ammo to consistently last the entire match. Still, 900 potential damage isn't that bad.

This is mine DARKFORCER - ENF-5D

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3a13828f95087bb

In game it shows full - 50 tonnage, not 49.9 . . . I don't know why.
Just a few game yet, but I think, it could be good. EDIT: fifth game - 700+ DMG

I run the same build but with a flamer instead of the medium laser. That new -30 jam chance perk is nice.

The arms on the 5p feel really fragile to me. Anyone else noticing this?

This. Same with the Zeus - I'm a laser-fan, especially with the state of AC hitreg in the game, and with both those mechs, using the right-side as the shield takes some getting used to.

I have not noticed the arms of the 5P being anymore fragile the other variants, just in general the Enforcer chassis is underwhelming. I will admit though that most of my issues with the chassis probably stem from the fact that they do not suit my play style.

The 5P is a one trick pony -- dual UAC/5's
The 5D -- I can't find any setup to make this variant enjoyable, the worst of the lot IMO
4R -- this is at least workable as a medium pulse boat

I recently finished elite'ing the Enforcer.

Here are my setups;
ENF-5D
-3x MP
-1x Gauss (3ton ammo)
My first Gauss mech but I defiantly think it works and enjoy playing it, usually posts 350-450dmg

ENF-5P
-2x UAC/5
-1x MPL
It works, DAKAs like crazy with cool down and range modules. Not my favourite, needs the JJ and XL be manoeuvrable

ENF-4R
-5x MPL
Use the right side to shield, does pretty good. This mech does decent pin-point damage and is decent in a brawl I find. Took getting used to since I usually load the right side on mechs.
