Trust me, you won't notice them once the action gets going.

The real question is will nvidia and ATi create crossfire/SLI profiles for the game and if they will bother with multi monitor and 3d support. And even then, given the insane performance hit's they put on games, if you feeling like shelling out for a multi gpu rig?
I got eyefinity to work on Diablo 3 by setting it to windowed full screen and then choosing 5760x1200 resolution. It is very OP in the game as you can see alot fo crap your not meant to be seeing because you can tell they had no intention at all of implementing multi screen support. When you try it you will see what im talking about and have a little giggle.

Multi-monitor means more pixels. Most large monitors are only 1920x1080/1200 or 2560x1600 at best. Standard 3-monitor Eyefinity is 5760x1080/1200. Or 1920x3240/3600 in portrait mode.
And to answer the original question, multi-monitor support is planned/expected.

When I get into the beta I might be tempted to figure out how to fix this myself...or at least give them clean feedback on precisely what's not working.

As for 3D support, we have 4 stations here that support it but we are not going to move forward with 3D until we work out some issues regarding layering and HUD. We will post something when it does become fully supported for Beta.

Hopefully that helps.

Even if it doesn't come to fruition, at least we have some info.

Misplaced as in portions of the UI are partially off screen or just not displayed on the middle monitor?

For example the weapon group box is highly compressed close to the size of the throttle/heat indicator (completely unreadable) and is placed on the left-most screen. Damage readout is still readable, but no HUD element is placed on the rightmost screen.

I really hope they fix this before launch. I bought a triple monitor setup + new video card just for this game, lol.

I'm sure NVIDIA's 3D solution will work pretty well though. They've managed to get 3D to work pretty damn well (albiet sometimes with some minor tweaks) on hundreds of games already, even when developers had no intention of supporting 3D. Does ATI not allow you to activate 3D for any game?

I hope you wrote a bugreport?
