What Would Make You Spend [Another] 50 Bucks On This Game?

2. More value for my money; even if a bunch of the things above were fixed I don't see enough value in buying mech packs or bundles of MC because the vast majority of items are too expensive for what you get. If I don't feel like I'm being gouged heavily for buying a single mech which ranges from ~$7-$35, or even just some colors & camo patterns, then I would be willing to spend more money.

Note: I had spare cash before for hobbies but after quiting smoking 6 months ago I have an extra 250$ a month in my pocket that pays for these packs without any thought.
Keep up the good work, I just recruited a few new guys due to voip finally coming in

I think that's all I really want now. Or I should say there are many things I want, but that's what would really change the paradigm for me. Something that plays out like a Battlefield or small team Duty match. Where your moment-to-moment goals change as the match evolves, and those goals actually matter more than killing as many 'Mechs as you can.
I'd throw more money into the game for that. Either directly or by showing my renewed enthusiasm by buying another 'Mech pack.

That's what they'd like to think. The reality is that they're far fewer in number than they want to be, their numbers were probably replaced by new players within a few months, and half the stuff they're holding PGI hostage over is sim-snob fluff that's unlikely to make the game a lot of money.
PGI isn't limiting itself to monetizable features anyway; they haven't released one since last April (the private matches). But they've done all kinds of other things designed to do what you just said, earn players' goodwill by addressing big issues (performance, balance, CW). Their priorities are likely more dictated by technical considerations. I'd much rather PGI's design team be reviewing new gamemodes than the gorram Ghost Heat issue.
Right now, things are stagnant at best.
What once was a "deal" before - $87 ($80 Resistance/phoenix pack + $7 MC purchase) minimum to collect all the loyalty rewards mentioned @ Sept - is now lowered to $40. I'd really think about how one goes about devaluing such purchases so easily (duplicate mechs aren't the most useful bonuses).
I wouldn't call it a conspiracy theory.. but small details like that don't go unnoticed (like the 24 medallion challenge of last weekend).
You can't just ignore the past.. you either embrace it, admit to it, AND actually make changes (through action) or may it repeat itself because it was never corrected in the first place.

3 easy quick solutions:
1) Fire the man who shall not be named.
2) Hire more competent programmers and developers.
3) Get the artists to actually RESCALE ANY AND EVERY MECH so that it doesn't come up on atrocious balance discussions.
4) Hire Bishop Steiner to help lay out concept arts, to lower some of Alex's workload
Really.. it doesn't take much here.
Bonus 3:
1) Fix/improve the UI drastically to be as useful as smurfy's.
2) Fix all usability issues, including the NPE/tutorials.
3) Immediately fire the man who shall not be named.
FTFY

As for me?
Unlocking Endo for the Clan Mechs would be a good start. I would like several of the mechs I already purchased, like the Gargoyle and Summoner to not suck, or have to be run as LaserVomit to "compete".
Then slap together a "MediuM Mech Reinforcement" Package, with the Vulcan, Assassin, Dervish and Bushwacker in it.

Yet lately I have become quite bored. Urbanmech is a pass for me.
There is this ugly *yawn* feeling when I go PUG, so lately I hardly play anything but CW. But even that is starting to be a yawner.
PGI, you really need to do something truly exciting.

"Bushwacker"

Still waiting for my Wolverine Hero... But I would gladly fork over $50 for a single player campaign. I love pugging, but when my internet acts up, I'd like some other way to get my mech fix.

Aside from that, I would love to see different manufacturers of IS weapons, like Donal PPC maybe having a perk that makes them better than say Tiegart PPC's...

Here's what it would take - any two of the following:
- a 3025 mode
- Radically fixed UI
- PvE

Much, much bigger maps. Maps that allow scouting and harassing, to a much greater extend then we have today.
Yep, much much larger maps!

CHEAPER COLORS.
CHEAPER CAMO.
In other words I would have already "bled" another $100 or more into this game if they chose to nick me with smaller cuts instead of going for the jugular every time.
I know...WoT is just as expensive if not more, that there are people gladly paying what they ask, but I still insist (thru absolutely no research or evidence) that the Whales would still spend, they'd just get MORE, and those of us who have been holding off would spend if everything was 50% less.
