My suggestion for a Mechwarrior Online intro:

A narrator reads this scrolling text:

"Once their was a powerful nation known as the Star League. For centuries they have promoted peace an unity throught the Inner Sphere, but one day a vicious madman took control of the Star League and abused it's power. When the war was over, the houses fought among themselves to see who should unite the Inner Sphere under their control."

Then it shows all of the logos and mechs fighting each other and ends with the intro cross fading into the Mechwarrior: Online logo.

My suggested Intro music:
Imminent Action from Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries

If you have your own suggestion for an intro and intro music, feel free to post it here.

How about no, that is way overdone, and this isn't Lord of the Rings, but if it was: maybe.

Well symphonic metal seems quite fitting considering we are driving up 100 tons on heavy metal :)

I imagine a scene on the battlefield with two armies facing off each other, then halfway fading in the IS map couple of times to visualize the change of worlds.
In the background music like "Tool - Right in two"

Previous mechwarrior intros were about one person surviving/exploding/killing, but this time we realy should focus more on the grand scale of the huge military strategic battles and the number of players.

Or better yet, try Tool-10000 days, it's much better.
