Canon-wise, RVN-2X ran LLaser. It now has LLaser quirk. I am ok with it.

Almost every mech with LPL quirks got them nerfed. Imo its because the IS blue wub cannon is the best gun in the game right now, and with GH set at 3 they felt it was needed.

My BNC-3M will continue unchanged and just live with 10% Range/10% Heat instead of 15%/15%

My plan was to start mastering Ravens. Oh, well onto something else now.

And I have not read any complaints or bragging threads for or against Ravens. So again, Were they a problem? To strong or to weak? I haven't read a single complaint on that chassis in months.

The Raven 2X is probably even better in general now, it is just the LPL+3ML and 2xLPL configurations that have been toned down, too bad because I liked LPLs on the 2X.

Now I would try:
4xMPL (because the huge duration quirk, those would be like 4 surgical lasers)
2xLL + 2xML heat and duration quirks make this interesting.
ALRM15 + 4xML looks interesting too but I am not much into missile support.

Except, no one - not IS OR Clan - was complaining about Ravens. But, by all means, don't let that stop you from throwing it out there so you can seem like one of the "cool kid Clan Haterz".

Honestly, quirks should all be based on stock loadouts, which I think mostly, is becoming more true.

And even with quirks it doesn't stop you from running anything you want.
