Will this hotfix include a fix for the reported torso twist slowness as well?

While I'm up for fixing the legs to torso issue people are having (that sounds annoying) I've heard a lot of people complain that torso twist seems sluggish even, which I've been playing and it FEELS GREAT! Like I'm lumbering around in a big mech...oh hey I am.

Seriously though, whatever is with the torso twist, its working great and I'm loving it! Keep that part at least! No more Gundam-Mechs spinning, snapping, and practically dancing as if they were in sword fights with one another. Nice, big, lumbering mechs of Mechwarrior.

Except Battletech mechs are far more mobile in the lore than the game really allows

see: Atlases punching mechs so hard they explode, melee in general, etc

+1

It oversteers or the torso freezes completely, especially while aligning legs to torso mid-jump.

At first I switched batteries in my mouse and keyboard.

This has been going on with both the legs to torso or torso to legs for ages now, just jittery all over the place, its severely irritating to where I avoid using either when aiming in combat to avoid missed shots.

Very strange, I've had this bug with all my mechs for months. Actually, forever, and it's most noticeable in my lights, especially Locusts. I've noticed absolutely no change since this patch.

+1
Had that always. And for me things became better with this patch (less screen shaking when running holding "center legs" button).

Same here, annoying as heck really throws of my aim and I end up over compensating.

It became worse for me post patch.

Just curious how this got into release build. Isn't there at least some testing prior to commit?

Uhh your hot fix has made things much worse. Hitting center legs in certain positions causes it to go into an infinite spin, even with hands completely off controls.

Tested in stormcrow. Look over your shoulder then center legs.
Also affects enforcer and ice ferret. Seems to be any mech with an over 180 degree yaw.

After the hotfix, pressing F now causes Hunchbacks and Griffins to go into an infinite spin.

Torso twisting while armlocked is overcompensating.

It appears that the torso will move to the where the arms would have travelled to if they weren't locked.

This is making some mechs very difficult to pilot.

I have a problem now after the hotfix that wasn't there before it. I play with arms unlocked and often us F to center my torso during matches especially when using JJs but now when I hit F my arm reticule immediately jumps to max arm reach and starts my mech spinning in place, I can get out of it by hitting A or D and can get by if I avoid hitting F but it's often a reflex that I've developed and I don't think about it.

On further investigation it seems to be chassis specific, I was playing in a Vindicator 1AA when i discovered it but didn't happen in my Firestarter A or Sarah Jenner.

Never heard of bug before patch, after hotfix a number of times now my mech goes into a spinning loop and im centred backwards and my mech plays in reverse.

The patch made things worse!

+1 problem introduced by hotfix

it appears what's happening is that the reticle behaves as though your arms were locked (i.e. stays centered), but the torso behaves as though they were unlocked. So you wind up oversteering as the torso twists to wherever it thinks your arms are pointed.

Also having the issue of mech instantly twisting to reverse when I press f, but it primarily seems to be happening with my resistance variant of the enforcer in particular. Hope this gets fixed soon!
